Kavion Henderson dropped from #36 overall to #51 on ESPN.

Also drops from 86 grade to 85 grade 4-star not a week after his commitment.

Several Arkansas targets and previous visitors were included in the latest Top247 rankings for the Class of 2024, which were released Wednesday morning.

The Razorbacks' lone commitment for the '24 cycle, defensive lineman Kavion Henderson, rose in the latest round of rankings from No. 233 in August to No. 198 in November.

The Natural State saw one player included in the rankings, as well. Four-star quarterback Walker White of Little Rock Christian is now a Top100 target after rising from No. 157 to No. 92 in the nation.

Benton (Ark.) running back Braylen Russell, who de-committed from the Hogs earlier this fall, retains his four-star status despite not being listed in the Top247.

Little Rock Mills defensive lineman Charleston Collins, Bryant defensive end TJ Lindsey and Bentonville wide receiver CJ Brown round out the state's Top 5 as highly-rated three-stars.

The feeling is that Notre Dame is way out in front for the 2024 three-star defensive end from Bryant, Ark., and the Irish have been one of the top teams for Lindsey early on but a commitment might not be right around the corner. Many SEC teams including Arkansas which is less than a three-hour drive away are coming after him but in the end Notre Dame could be tough to beat.

DL TJ Lindsey: A 2024 EDGE from Bryant High School in Arkansas, TJ Lindsey had one of the most productive days of any pass rusher in attendance on Friday. Possessing a nice combination of size and athleticism, Lindsey’s smooth moving ability and suddenness off the edge caught our attention as he was handful throughout the afternoon.

2024 SDE TJ Lindsey 6'5" 250 Bryant, AR

quote:

Lindsey combined his imposing physical presence with better than expected athleticism to become one of the camp's most impressive defensive players on the day. The Arkansas native impressed during drills which was shortly followed by an even more impressive performance during 1on-1's, where he proved to be nearly un-blockable.

Lindsey is pushing 20 offers including the likes of Georgia, Colorado and the home-state Arkansas Razorbacks.

quote:

2025 RB Kiandrea Barker 6'1" 190 Beebe, AR

quote:

Barker was a standout at the Dallas Rivals Camp Series last spring and he picked up right where he left off at today's National Combine. With offers from Florida State, Ole Miss, Penn State and others, Barker is already a borderline national recruit and will likely have offers from coast to coast by the time his recruitment is complete.

The standout 2025 prospect has a big-time frame, is extremely smooth in all of his movements and proved to be as tough of a matchup as we saw on the days during the 1-on1 portion of the combine.

What's RPM?

I'm sick of these in state kids bolting elswhere. That's really where Bert and Chad killed us. They grew up with us just stinking it up in their formative years.

We will never beat out Notre Dame in that way, in their worst years they get 8+ wins it seems. Because they play no one.

Arkansas, USC, Washington and Oklahoma along with Notre Dame have been particularly aggressive with the 2025 four-star linebacker from La Verne (Calif.) Bonita. With the Trojans, Mikhail loves the new coaching staff and the changes they’re making plus he already has a great bond with position coach Brian Odom. The Sooners could be one to watch early on as well as he’s visited Norman twice already.

Tennessee, Texas A&M, Michigan and Missouri are four of the schools Wingo has his eye on most although the 2024 five-star receiver has also been linked to Notre Dame for a long time as well.

The St. Louis (Mo.) University standout has narrowed down his extensive list a little bit but remains open to all programs. A big visit is coming up to Knoxville this weekend and then he could see Texas A&M and Clemson by the end of the month.

247Sports Composite five-star WR Ryan Wingo locks in visits to Tennessee, Texas A&M and Colorado

quote:

St. Louis (Mo.) University High 247Sports Composite five-star receiver Ryan Wingo is busy with January visits beginning this weekend when he returns to Tennessee to enjoy junior day which will include a basketball game against Kentucky.

The Vols are the 247Sports Crystal Ball favorite for Wingo but they’re not the only one in play for the No. 3 pass catcher in the 247Sports Composite Player Rankings.

Wingo heads to Texas A&M the next weekend which is Jan. 21.

Colorado will get Wingo on campus the weekend of Jan. 28.

Beyond the schools mentioned, Wingo got a chance to return to Missouri in January. He saw several schools play during the fall including everyone mentioned here outside of Colorado.

Other programs prominent for Wingo include Clemson, Miami, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon and Penn State.

Wingo ranks as the 247Sports Composite’s No. 14 prospect regardless of position.

Hawkins was the QB of class that Briles had wanted and was going to announce Jan 31st before the OC change.

Enos made an effort to push for White shortly after being hired but I'm not really surprised after the visit to Clemson last weekend.

His older brothers came to Arkansas as preferred walk-ons for football and baseball recently and neither last long before transferring to UCA for football and not sure about the baseball one.

His faith aligns with what the Dabo/Freeze types sell and Baylor being a Baptist school makes sense.

Without the Little Rock games we won't have as much of a leg up on the metro area kids. Really starting to see it's effects now. Not that I'm arguing to bring them back. Just one of the sad realities of progress. Gonna really suck when the next DMac goes somewhere out of state.

I'm just glad he's committing early on so the staff has plenty of time to focus on other kids.

We open this next season playing in LR.

This has nothing to do with games being played in LR or not.

Hogs need to play every scheduled home game they can on campus.

Simply he wasn't a priority for Briles in his offensive scheme. Briles liked Hawkins more and you have to choose 1 at QB.
