162 Carries
1304 yards
8 yd/per
26 TD’s

Must have been grades because he had D1 offer JR year

So it wasn’t because he wasn’t any good. Robinson had plenty of athletes and this dude was a beast that day

According to 247 composite rankings we finished 28th nationally and 13th in the sec only finishing ahead of Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt finished 31st nationally.

Local football star with 2 colleges of young ladies to "court", DeGray and Hot Springs right down the road, Dallas a short drive away and family around. Yeah. Sounds awful.

That’s pretty disappointing. We got caught flat footed in the NIL wars.

To be fair when you add transfer portal+recruiting rankings for overall talent composition we ranked 20th because our portal was pretty good, but schools like ole miss and lsu did good in both the portal and normal recruiting. LSU was 6th even with all the coaching turmoil and losing a massive amount of in state talent to Texas A&M and alabama.

What is it going to take for us to land top 10 recruiting classes consistently?

Players in Louisiana and Texas choosing us over Aggies longhorns and tigers. Would help if we could occasionally go into Missouri and Illinois to cherry pick as well. People always talk about locking down the border but that shite doesn’t matter when we have a state that if we had 5 4 star athletes we’d consider it a good to possibly great high school class. Louisiana produces 10+ 4 star athletes per year. This year they had 1 5 star and 15 4 stars. They had 61 players go play d1 football and more 3 stars unsigned, for comparison we had 18. And don’t even get me started about Texas. We have to be able to go into the states and gets guys like catalon l that the other schools really want and choose us over them. We can’t expect to take their scraps every year and beat them on a consistent basis.

—————————————————————————

247 Composite fell from # 22 to # 28 with Rowser coming off.

247 only ranking fell from # 13 to # 18.

Our 247 Overall ranking, it includes our transfers + HS recruits only fell from # 18 to # 20.

Rivals ranking tanked with Rowser coming off - from # 15 to #26 in team ranking. 1 player in a formula which also forced our long snapper to valued in the score.

While going over the numbers I noticed On3 did some moving around in the past few days/day.

Our On3 Consensus only dropped from # 22 to # 26.

On3 only rankings increased from # 36 to # 34 as both Jaylen Lewis and Sam Mbake got 4*'s.

Lewis listed as S on On3 went from 3-star with 87 grade to 4-star with 91 grade. Mbake went to 4-star 90 grade and James Jointer bumped from 3-star 87 grade to 88 grade.

5 transfers (not the walk-on QB transfer) who are all 4* on 247 transfer rankings.

10 HS signees with at least a 4* grade on one recruiting services.

15 players we are adding to the roster with at least a grade of 4* in this recruiting cycle and we have an opportunity to add 3 more before next August.

I don't see that being bad with how they performed last year.

I would have liked to see us close a little stronger and keep the full class together but I feel like we met needs and increased our talent level. Now for coaching and game planning to kick in to get the kids ready to play fast

Arkadonothing really does suck a significant amount of balls. As a Henderson grad I can say that I lived in Hot Springs specifically so I didn't have to live in that shite hole.

I played baseball there as a freshman…I’m sure it’s better now but not choosing any of the other D1 offers is weird..oh well
