Were they? I read it as they were working on them as of the date (11/18 and 11/19). The gamespot article I linked was written 11/18, noting a patch in the coming week

I'm kind of punch drunk from work anyway, maybe they did push the update, and it didn't resolve your issue. In any event, I hope they get it squared away

You're right, they were just talking about working on it.
No patch has been rolled out, will be in the next week.
Probably waiting on the One so they can roll it out to all platforms at once.

They better, there's about a million pissed off people right now.
I just don't understand how they can launch something that doesn't work. I've dealt with buggy launches before, but this thing just simply doesn't work. Crazy this is what the videogame industry has come too :(

Enjoy your Xbox One, i'd pick one up but i have to get a new car asap. So if the Wii-U doesn't get a price drop i might try to grab one this time next year.

no. when I have time to play, which is almost never , I usually play PC on my steam account.
but I plan on getting a PS4 and an XBone eventually when I have a little more time to spare for gaming.

FYI to all, ps4 system update. Fixed crashing issues with battlefield and other games.
Testing now.
Now if they will enable Bluetooth headsets and let me turn off the light on the controller, I'll say it's a successful console.

Not supposed to, patch was just for the UI tweaks, nothing BF4 related. Couple posters in the BF4 thread on gaming board are still crashing on the reg after patch.

Lately I've been playing BF3, Civ 5, and World of Tanks. I rotate through a bunch of games, though. I tend to obsess over one game in particular for a few months and move on.
A little further back I played a lot of Skyrim and Planetside 2.

I can watch the entire intro video and use battlelog. It's a bit more stable. Played for an hour before my first ce-34878-0.

The rollout for BF3 wasn't nearly this bad, but they had some unique challenges this year with all the new hardware. Once everything gets smoothed out, I expect BF4 to be the definitive online shooter just like BF3 eventually became for its 2 year run.
But in the beginning there were a ton of bugs, stingers didn't lock on, tanks and attack choppers were indestructible, bad spawns, etc. They made lots of tweaks to the game over the first 8 months and changed it a lot.
For example, when the game first came out you could set up a mortar in your own spawn, which was out of bounds to the enemy. They patched this and made it so you could only deploy a mortar in bounds. They'll do the same kind of stuff for BF4 and the game will be awesome, but right now it sucks because of all the freezing and bugs.

Did anyone else whore the shite out of the UCAV in BF4 before it got nerfed? I got over 1000 kills with it before the patch.
