Then again, I just got it - and it's my first Battlefield game. Graphics on the PS4 are simply beautiful.

The Battlefield series has been on a decline since BF2, imo. BF1942 and BF2 were amazing and there were lots of shenanigans you could pull. Jihad jeeping and whammy coptering in BF2 were art forms (they both involved liberal use of C4).
None of the recent BF games have come close to replicating that kind of fun. I'm having fun with BF3 right now, but I've heard a lot of horror stories with BF4 having horrible stability issues, at least on PC. Does it have similar issues on PS4?

Yes it crashes horribly on ps4, your save file gets corrupted, entire game modes are not abailable(conquest) and there's no Bluetooth headsets.

It's had issues on every platform, I stopped playing on the 360 because of frequent freezing and all the bugs. DICE says they're still working on a patch for consoles but it's not ready yet.
The fact that Conquest isn't available on PS4 sucks because everyone was looking forward to 64 player matches on console, which has never been done. I'm sure the same thing will happen to Xbox One and that is bullshite because Conquest is the most popular game mode by far.
I'm extremely disappointed so far, the game is pretty much unplayable right now.

They should have just made a game for next gen and PC instead of bothering with the 360 and PS3 versions.
EA probably came in and forced them to make a current gen version. Why else would they even bother with it, this game clearly wasn't made for current consoles.

This Killzone multiplayer gives me a major hard-on, and this map is one of favorite MP maps in awhile.

Looks badass from the videos I've watched, beautiful maps. I liked that one that's kind of an alpine setting with big trees everywhere.
