Yeah they fixed it for me the first time too. Then it worked fine for 2 years...and it got a disc read error so i had to hit on the top of it to get it to read the disc every time
And here lately it's been overheating for no apparent reason after like 10 minutues of playing. It's well ventilated and everything
The $100 cheaper price pretty much did it for me for next gen. That and getting addicted to my roommate's MLB the show last semester

I've got the PS4 BF4 bundle preordered along with Killzone and Knack. My Nov/Dec is fricked.
Love MLB The Show, best baseball game ever created, can't wait to see what they do on the PS4.

So I'm leaning towards getting a PS4 now.
Gonna go get my hands on the new controller and that will be the deciding factor. If the dual shock 4 feels good then it's settled.

What's making you consider the change?
I've heard/read nothing but good things about the DS4.

Just not too impressed from the first party titles I've seen from Xbox. I'm not a Halo guy and Killzone looks more up my alley. Plus I'm really getting a new console just for Battlefield anyway and it's looking like Playstation will be the better option for that game.
It all comes down to the controller for me though and from all the reviews I've read people are digging the DS4 more than the One controller. Still gotta get my hands on it though to know for sure.

Right on, I'll have BF4 and Killzone.
Run to a Gamestop near you, I think they have the DS4's on display and you can hold one/mess with it.
Pretty sure you can even buy them now.

I haven't done much research into the next gen systems. I'm probably just going to get an Xbox. Trying to figure out how to JTAG one of my old 360s that doesn't have a working disk drive. I tried to read a guide, but I didn't understand about 75% of the words. Think I'm giving up on that plan.

I canceled my preorder like a month ago when Gamestop couldn't guarantee me release date delivery ontop of the $25 next day shipping I was paying for when Amazon was free release date shipping and no tax.

I'll be driving/calling around to all area walmarts, targets, sams clubs, etc trying to get one Friday.

I pre ordered from Sams Club. I ended up paying extra for the shipping, but it says it will arrive 11/15. I thought about driving around for some of the midnight releases - but I'm old, and would rather pay the $ to sleep

My nephew has been begging me to get the GTAV game... Doesn't seem like a good idea for a 10 yr old.
He wants to play the adult games, and I'm always like lets fire up the Wii and play home run derby.
