Looks like the team will get to play some exhibition games in Europe over the summer. At least, the gelling process will start early.

I also can't wait to see how they do in the Maui Invitational this year.

Seen anything on packages? Might go if they offer some packages like when we've went before.

Ricky Council IV commits to Arkansas. Was AAC sixth man of the year.

Ricky will provide some experience to help the guards and compliments the skill sets of Nick Smith and Anthony Black.

13 scholarships accounted for if Jaylin Williams stays in the NBA draft.

Top 7 on roster appear to be:
Nick - starter
AB - starter
Brazile - starter
Council - probable starter
Walsh - probable starter
Devo - probable starter
Graham - probable starter

Other big men - Johnson and the Mitchell twins
Other 3 freshmen perimeter players

Ford and one of the Mitchell twins are most likely to break-though that group.

One returning player on the entire roster and yet projected as preseason #1. Basketball is wild these days.

Rev are you posting the skills of Jaxson Robinson, oh wait.

Can he play defense and move with that knee injury?

I don't think Devo gets 10 mins/game now, much less push for a starting Position.

He's basically on the team now for leadership and chemistry, and the occasional bucket or steal.

Council kind of negates a lot of what he does. So does Derrian Ford. It's going to be an absolute war for those third Guard spot minutes.

I don't think Ford will see much PT once conference season rolls around. He"ll be too raw to start making our second half of season run that Muss teams usually have.

I think Devo starts at least at the beginning of the season for seniority and experience but the other guys may be too talented to keep out of the lineup for long. If he starts looking like freshman year Devo then maybe he sticks though. He keeps showing spurts of really good play if he could just eliminate the boneheaded mistakes.

If he could stop being a momentum killer, with the dribbling off his feet and dumb passes.

Eric Musselman could really care less about what you think about his roster construction. He is pulling out all the stops in his pursuit of a National Championship at Arkansas. Wichita State transfer Ricky Council IV will be the 11th new face on the roster next year. Arkansas has a star-studded recruiting class and a loaded transfer portal class too. Musselman is clearly trying to build a roster that has an answer to any problem Arkansas could run into during the regular season and in the NCAA Tournament. We talk often about how you need six different gameplans to win a National Championship. Don't be surprised if Council finds a way to be a very impactful wing.

The 6-foot-6, 205-pound guard provides some much-needed experience on the wing. His athleticism jumps off the page, and if Jaylin Williams returns, there's going to be opportunities for Council to provide real value as a cutter who can flash into the middle of the lane and find open spaces for big jams. If Council turns into Arkansas' defensive stopper who can guard multiple positions (especially big guards/wings), his value skyrockets through the roof. Arkansas legitimately could have a billion different starting lineups. But make no mistake, this is a roster that can win it all. Musselman just has to find the winning formula, which he's done every single year.

This team is going to be a challenge to coach with all the hype. Muss does really well when he's coaching from the underdog position. we're going to have a huge target on our back given the preseason hype.

With this much hype, it is like those Kentucky teams, anything less than championships will be seen as a failure.
