So.... Apparently there are rumors that Kelel Ware is trying to get out of his Oregon commitment. I've seen this mentioned today around the internets two different times.
If it's only a 'commitment', he could just decommit. If he signed a LOI, then it's a different matter. I assume he signed?

Yeah he signed. It depends if Oregon will let him out of his LOI. I don't see that POS Dana Altman letting him do that.

Tried to attack him?
Yes
He was throwing elbows and supposedly Scottie called him a punk arse bitch. I don’t know if that’s true, but I do know that Nico was routinely flagged for dirty plays on the football field. He has zero self control

Got some dog in him. Good. He will need it on an SEC line.

Acting like a fool because you are getting your arse kicked isn’t “dog,” it’s being emotionally unstable. He is a 15 yard penalty waiting to happen
At 1:47 you can see the kind of bullshite he routinely does. I can’t believe that there are people that defend this kid

Yes, he elbowed the kid in the back of the head for no other reason other than his team was getting a beat down. If it was an isolated incident it would be one thing, but the kid has a reputation for that kind of shite.

You have to have that fire first. You can't coach fire. You can coach restraint.

Plus he’s being recruited as a defensive lineman in football. Not a basketball player you want some dog in a lineman because it’s gonna get chippy in the trenches every game

Let Me say this again. He tried to attack scottie freaking Thurman. That's like a Georgia fan attacking hershel walker. The entire team had to hold him back

This was Rivals update week.

Nick Smith Jr. has made another big jump in the Rivals150.
After moving up 23 spots and gaining five-star status in the last rankings update, the North Little Rock standout shot up to No. 4 in Monday’s release of the top five prospects in the Class of 2022.
A trio of Duke signees - Dariq Whitehead, Kyle Filipowski and Dereck Lively - are the only players ahead of him in Rivals' rankings.
That means Smith is now tied for the highest ranked Arkansas signee ever in the Rivals era, matching 2004 signee Al Jefferson, who never made it to campus because he went to the NBA straight out of high school.
Smith is also the highest ranked in-state prospect to come through the Natural State during the Rivals era, surpassing Bentonville's Malik Monk, who was No. 9 overall in 2016 and signed with Kentucky.
The final rankings for 2022 will come out after the McDonald’s All-American Game on March 29, so Smith will have one more opportunity to move up before he suits up for the Razorbacks. As it currently stands, Rivals has him ranked higher than any other recruiting service.
It has been an eventful few weeks for Smith, who was named a McDonald’s All-American and selected for the Iverson Classic All-American Game last month. He is also one of 12 players on MaxPreps’ watch list for its National Player of the Year Award and one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith Trophy.
In addition to those accolades, ESPN recently tabbed him as the top college prospect for the 2023 NBA Draft, slotting him third in its mock draft.
On the court, Smith was named the MVP of the King Cotton Classic in December and recently capped a triple-double performance with a buzzer beater to beat Little Rock Central in overtime.
He is now averaging 26.5 points, 8 rebounds and 7.3 assists this season, helping the Charging Wildcats to a 17-3 overall record.
The rest of the Rivals150 will be revealed Tuesday. Fellow Arkansas signees Jordan Walsh (No. 31), Derrian Ford (No. 58), Joseph Pinion (No. 125) and Barry Dunning Jr. (No. 131) were included in the last update.

POINT GUARD
TOP DOG: Nick Smith
Smith continues to trend upward and snatched the top spot at point guard because of an evolving game that seems to feed into what the modern NBA wants in a point guard. The North Little Rock (Ark.) High School prospect is signed to play for Arkansas next season and will arrive in Fayetteville as a proven scorer at the highest levels of high school hoops. Smith creates his own shot and is starting to understand how to use his length on the defensive end, where he’s capable of guarding three positions.

The latest update to the Rivals150 for the Class of 2022 has elevated Arkansas to No. 2 in the class rankings.
Not only did Nick Smith Jr. jump up to No. 4 overall, which was announced Monday, but Jordan Walsh received his fifth star and moved up 12 spots to No. 19 in the Rivals rankings released Tuesday.
It is the first time during the Rivals era, which dates back to 2002, that the Razorbacks have signed multiple five-star prospects in the same class. In fact, they signed just four total five-stars in the previous 20 classes combined.
Walsh, who plays at Link Academy in Branson, Mo., was named a McDonald’s All-American last month, along with Smith. They could become the first pair of McDonald’s All-Americans in the same class to play for the Razorbacks since Todd Day and Lee Mayberry in 1988.
Arkansas’ three other signees moved down in the rankings, but each of them remained in the Rivals150. Only Duke, who has the No. 1 overall class, signed more Rivals150 prospects (6) in 2022 than the Razorbacks’ five. (It’s worth noting that there are still 16 undecided players on the list.)
Magnolia’s Derrian Ford had the biggest drop among Arkansas’ signees, falling 19 spots to No. 77. However, he is still a four-star prospect.
Although he dropped four spots in the rankings to No. 129, Morrilton’s Joseph Pinion regained his fourth star. Barry Dunning Jr., who plays for McGill-Toolen in Mobile, Ala., is still a three-star prospect and checks in at No. 134, which is down three spots.
The 2022 rankings will update one more time following the McDonald’s All-American Game, which is scheduled for March 29 in Chicago. Assuming each of them remain on the list, Arkansas will tie its record for most Rivals150 signees in one class, matching the 2011 group that also had five.
All 10 high school signees under Eric Musselman have been Rivals150 prospects, as well. That three-year total is equal to the number of Rivals150 signees Arkansas had in the previous seven classes combined.

Arkansas fans have every reason to be excited for the future under head coach Eric Musselman, as the success he’s had in his time as the program's head coach now seems to be compounding. Musselman has two five-stars, in the form of Nick Smith and Jordan Walsh, in the fold for 2022, and both saw significant gains in the rankings refresh.
Smith, who has NBA scouts already talking about his potential in the 2023 draft, becomes a more complete point guard with each passing month. He went from No. 16 to No. 4 in the update while entering the conversation for the top spot. Walsh used a strong season at Missouri-based juggernaut Link Academy to crawl up to No. 19 from his previous ranking of 31.
Smith’s No. 4 ranking draws him even with class-of-2004 center Al Jefferson as the highest-ranked prospect ever signed by Arkansas. Jefferson never played a game in Fayetteville, however, as he landed in the NBA straight from high school.
