We have the minutes available for another talented big, maybe two more. I think we need three more bigs but one or two would just be bodies for depth.

Sounds like Cal will be content with a roster of 9. Surely he'll pick up a couple of walkons beyond that though.

My understanding of the situation was that he'll only carry 9 NIL-level players but will fill out the rest of the scholarships with dudes that aren't quite on that level yet.

Smart move. Consolidate your roster spend on players that will play and stop developing kids for other teams. Let walk ons or non NIL kids come in and fill the bench

Talented kid but he’s gotta toughen up. I think we still have minutes for one traditional big. Then just add another bigger body for depth and we should be good.
