That's what you call this coaching search. It's clever. And the weirdest thing about it is that they seem to be coordinating this stuff with at least one other university (Ole Miss).
I think Hunter Yurachek is a very clever man. Too many loose lips around our state so he is running this coaching search like an interrogation.

It’s been an odd one for sure. This weekend is going to be nuts because you currently have two fan bases that have been 100% convinced that Kiffin has been signed, sealed and delivered to their school. I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen that before. Someone is going to get crushed on Sunday, that’s for sure, and hopefully it’s not us.

There's no national outlets reporting the Ole Miss stuff. Don't listen when you hear a booster/insider/VIP said this or that. The subscription sites, same thing.

If LK comes to Arkansas you better believe I am going to tell OM fans how crappy their school is and will remind them of that continuously.

The one thing that gives me some confidence in that it’s us is that Yurachek is in town currently and not out pounding the pavement. Even if it’s not Kiffin, he’s got to have his guy already with that lack of movement.

This combined with the tweet (however you want to read into) says alot about his confidence level. Maybe we find out that he is really off base and has been played by someone for awhile now but I doubt it.

I would tend to trust Dodd over Trey but Trey claims that Hunter has interviewed him. Would love Clark as a "back-up" plan.

Yurachek is either playing 5D chess or has continually struck out and on Plan Z at this point. I'm inclined to believe the former, since none of this seems chaotic or panicked from his side.
This confusion has to have been orchestrated by HY. Our local media is so turned around that they couldn't be any more lost if they were in the hedge maze from The Shining.

The good thing about a place like this is that you can bump your threads.
I threw out bullshite threads days ago about how Kiffin is our man. I'm hedging. If it ends up being him I'll bump them up and then make it sound like I actually knew what the frick was going on awhile back. Of course it isn't true, but it'll be like an extra little dig at the Ole Miss fans.
If it's not him, no big deal. I just don't bump the threads. If someone else bumps them just brush it off by telling them you were lying to them. Deal with it.
