They are, but they still may swap fall and spring sports before it’s all said and done. Still having discussions. Hopefully they won’t have to!

How is that supposed to help?

Is their thought process that there will be less attendance at the spring sports, thereby buying them more time for things to settle down before doing fall sports next spring?

I think the thinking is that since football is a money-maker for the rest of the athletic programs, that they do not want to lose part of a season to another shut-down. Also, since football is a contact sport played in close proximity, there is still a concern about transmission. Moving to the spring buys time for a vaccine/better treatment options. This is just what I am hearing from my friends in coaching.

I am inclined to agree with you Rev. I hope we have them, but I'm not willing to bet on it.

We should get a better understanding once baseball and basketball start backup. I'm mean hell, the pundits said protesting was ok because they had masks and were out side. Most colleges, if not all, play football in an open aired stadium. Make mask wearing a requirement to enter and go to town.

perhaps the problem is everyone takes pure opinion shows and news and facts. no pundits should be trusted on this plenty of science and data out there
