Knox, Wagner and maybe Sealy should hit the portal. Glad TB is finally gone as well.

Find us some dogs that will play defense

Agree.

He doesn’t shoot close to the level he needs to be any type of valuable asset.

Knox is coming back to win a natty he said last night, doesn't sound like a dude going anywhere.

A big if Maleek and Billy both return

Smith - #2 player in the country

Maleek

Billy Goat

JJ Andrews - #12 player in the country

Knox - experienced, at his worst played better than Sealy

Toure - #22 player in the country

Stokes- #1 player in the country.

Ewin

2 more bigs

Where does Sealy fit in because in that scenario he’s relegated to the same spot he is now.

He’ll hit the portal just to get playing time.

Freshmen like Acuff and Thomas make people forget how most freshman play.

Sealy is a work in progress. Shows flashes of huge potential, just needs more time.

It'll be interesting to see how Cal can fill this roster out.

We need some men on the roster. I saw where Cal said post game he wouldn’t get dragged into bidding wars which doesn’t make me feel great. I doubt Michigan/Duke/Arizona are too concerned with how much their rosters cost.

I think the frustrating part is we didn't really need what would be one of the higher "bid" big men.

Legit needed 1-2 guys that weigh 250+, can defend, rebound and grab easy baskets from the guards/wings creating.

Unfortunately the combo of Brazile, Pringle and Ewin couldn't really do any of that individually or collectively. Ewin was the closest one but would frequently get exposed by Acuff's defense at point of attack and Brazile getting lost regularly/general ineffectiveness.

It's honestly shocking how little Brazile's ability to put the ball on the floor/and or take a ball in stride and finish in the lane developed over 4 seasons here. Basically what Billy does in spades but in a much bigger frame. Don't get me started on his total inability to defend in the paint outside of highlight blocks.

We're going to have one of the most talented rosters in the country. Cal will pay players, a lot if we need to. He's talking about not wanting kids that only care about the highest bidder.

Not a cost issues, it's a team chemistry and coach-ability concern.

TB and Ewin scored 15 points against Arizona respectively.

This doesn't win championships

I know that’s why Cal doesn’t want to get in bidding wars, but do we think Michigan has a coachability/chemistry issue? Duke? Other top teams? You think they don’t get into any bidding wars?

Stokes' final two are Kentucky and Kansas. We have not been a part of his recruitment in quite awhile.

I think he means he likes recruits that want to play for him. Jordan Smith got around $1.5M NIL deal. Toure ~$500K. Andrews ~$400K.

If Meleek doesn't have a guaranteed 1st round team he'll be back and at least $1M+ maybe even $2M.
