To be fair, if he really wanted to visit G-League and sign, he could have/would have already done so. He didn't have to wait to be released from his NLI to do so. I think it's more of a ploy.

Doom and gloom? Nothing doom and gloom about believing someone like Holland is very likely going to the pros unless more money bags is thrown his way.

Yeah, it is doom and gloom since every indication has been that we're the favorite. That doesn't mean he's for sure coming here but it's definitely the more likely option. He didn't need to be released from his NLI to go to the G-League.

Everything you post is negative doesn't matter what sport.

I wouldn't be surprised if him visiting the G-League after his release is to make things seem a little bit more...by the book. I assume recruiting a guy to join your team before he's released from his LOI would be tampering. Him taking a some time before committing would dampen those claims a bit vs if he just jumped on board immediately after his release.

That's my hope, at least

It was expected to be down to us and the G-League. Don't think it changes anything that he wants to take a visit there. Also it's a dead period and we can't meet with him in person anyway.

Exactly what I thought as well. Especially with Rothstein breaking that. I can't see why anyone would turn down equal money to play in the G league and miss out on college ball. He's likely getting the same $ from us.

I don't believe anything until a recruit signs with the school they are going to.

I have been burned too many times in the past especially what happened with DGB.

It’s not like the mom of a recruit would ever steal her son’s LOI and refuse to let him sign with us.

Oh wait.

Sounds like Holland wants to take 4 or 5 visits. Whoring himself to the highest bidder lol

Or one might call it finding out the market value as he should.

He's arguably the #1 player in a not so great 2024 draft class and his best trait is his motor.

If I remember his uncle gave him the papers to sign.

As the old saying goes if momma ain't happy then ain't nobody happy.

It was his semi-estranged dad that he had to track down to get him to sign.
