Totally possible. I do seem to remember thinking Brazile looked good paired with another big

Brazile isn't a big and needs a true big to really shine, imo. He and Dickinson would force defenses to crowd the basket, allowing our guards free reign in the frontcourt.
This duo would have speed and athleticism with Brazile, with muscle from Dickinson, who's still quite mobile for his 7'2 frame.

Yeah Muss has tended to like smaller lineups a lot in terms of no true 4/5 that are both big center types. I think it was the year before we started a small lineup most games and then a lot this year too.
He wants athletisicm and away from the basket guys at the 4 and then just one true big down low like Mitchell/Fall.

I agree, although I don't like it. I also think he has a yearly tendency to play bigger lineups after struggling with smaller lineups early in the season. Seems like it's a yearly lesson.

Usually it's matchup dependent. Brazile had his best games in Maui with him as the only big on the floor.
But he also didn't have the bench this year to play anything else.

and now Rumors that Perry is most likely not gonna be a hog.
Odd really.

Well shoot, maybe too much competition at that spot for his liking. Or better NIL offer while ours is tied up to others.

Seems like rumors are usually planted and wrong with Muss in the transfer portal.

Honestly, it’s not the worst news. I could have seen it causing problems with the Blocker commitment unless Muss has a plan for him outside of PG

I really really want perry

Sounds like Perry is at the top our list but we aren’t going to wait for him to play the recruiting game when we have others that would jump on board now. He’s got a spot, just up to him to take it or lose it.

El Ellis is about to commit to us if his social media is any clue.

El Ellis
He kept Louisville in it against us in Maui. Him, Battle, and Mark would be an elite core of off ball guards

Well seems like you might be disappointed...
Sounds like Perry didn't pull the trigger fast enough.

But why? The only decent player at Louisville with folks pinning him down on D...
His 3pt shooting is fairly good other than last season, and again... Other teams knew who to guard.
He is FAST.... Blazing speed, and in perpetual movement around the basket to get open or get others open.
I think he would be great with our current foreseen players.

Ellis just got CB'd to us

Muss recruiting fast, quick guards and a handful of them to give the other teams hell around Brazile.
Also almost everyone we are adding shoots around 80% from FT line. Mark, Battle, Davenport and Ellis.
Keyon Menifield was around 70%.
Shooting ~20FT a game and 75%+ from the FT line is very important.

With the guards spots (maybe) filling up, I wonder if our push for bigs will pick up?

I think we have to be done with guards after Ellis commits. A good big man would be the last piece of the puzzle.
