Cbb was always so transactional that it’s not quite as disruptive as football. But yeah, it’s not what I want for the game.

If they aren’t a first to early second round pick a freshman or sophomore should probably stay in school. Players drafted in the second round don’t necessarily get guaranteed contracts. It really depends on who drafts you and their cap space. A lot of mid to late second rounders sign 2 way contracts

Assuming the school throws top NIL $$, am I better off taking my late 2nd round now or coming back? This might be a really stupid question. I just don't know the numbers on this topic.

1st round last pick gets 1.8 mil guaranteed money 1st year on this years scale.

2nd round there is no rookie pay scale but early you’ll probably be 1.5 on the high end. Mid/Lates normally sign two way contracts.

G League average start is 7k per month for 5 months + Bonuses. If you get a 2-way you can push 300-400k in year one.

Overseas can be comparable to the G league.

A school like Miami who was throwing out 800k NIL deals kept those mid late 2nd rounders.

John Ruiz who owns life wallet bought Miami final 4. He set an NIL budget of 10 mil dollars for his company.

Here was Packs NIL deal this year.

I’d love to know they amount of money being thrown at Bronny James. Has to be millions.

Bronny is a decent player, but more name recognition than anything.

Getting Lebron involved with a vested interest in your program would be worth a lot in itself.

That too. I’m thinking more of the possibilities after Bronny leaves, of course there’s no guarantees in that

I feel like he'll be pressured to be a one and done even if he needs more time to develop his game.

Crazy to think how excited we were with Moody's "Fab Four" class. Now that's just expected.

Sounds like Ware is on his way to visit Bama. Kind of done talking about him, clearly doesn’t want to come home.

Wonder if it's even about what he wants? I don't know his story, but I feel sorry for some of these kids that have parasitic adults "guiding" them and hoping for a lottery ticket. More times than not, they'd all end up better if they'd STFU, leave the kid alone, let them play and enjoy it.
