They’re solid depth but it’s the same issue we all anticipated. Don’t really need two of them.

There is a good chance that maybe he is contemplating possibly coming back if perhaps everything he is considering happens for an indefinite amount of time.

He’d basically be coming back for the college experience and giving up money.

Money isn’t everything

I'll say this. He could legit be the first pick if he cane back. Historically weak draft class next year

ok friends, when you blow off a make up test, leave school very quickly following the last game in the tournament, and have a BB Camp scheduled for this weekend for $$$ as well...

yeah, he is GONE!

and good for him.

DraftNet has him #7 overall, truly no reason to come back even if he could go #1 next year.

Help me out. Where does NIL money start competing with draft money? What # pick starts making guys consider taking less to improve their stock?

I realize that will vary from each person and school resources, but trying to figure out where in the draft it starts to level out.

This is all so new it's kind of hard to gauge the full landscape.

Big difference in trying to go #1 overall too.

The real money is after the rookie contract. For every extra year a player stays in college that’s theoretically one less year they will be on a vet contract.

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is

Example:

I'm a freshman or sophomore and a lock at mid to late 2nd round, but 1 more year of development could get me in the top half of the first round.

Assuming the school throws top NIL $$, am I better off taking my late 2nd round now or coming back?

This might be a really stupid question. I just don't know the numbers on this topic.

I'm just stunned he hasn't made the call. I figured he'd say it noon the day after the UConn beatdown. Maybe some girl he likes?

Crazy to think how excited we were with Moody's "Fab Four" class. Now that's just expected.

Unless I missed it, didn’t see it posted that Khalif Battle visited.

Until there are changes to NIL/portal as it stands today, we are relegated to be fans of a G league team.

Depressing thought, even though we are well positioned with a NBA connected coaching staff.
