Yeah like I said a few times, Fall will play and likely start similar to Walsh's role this year. Elite defense while developing on the other end but the defense is so good he still plays a lot regardless of the offensive output.

I still say ya'll are higher on Fall than I am. I think he will be a good player eventually but I think he has project written all over him.
Tremendous upside but very raw.

I've seen similar thoughts on Fall elsewhere. He seems like a dude that can come in for 15-20 minutes a game and raise hell with his athleticism and defense, but I'm not sure he's going to be a starting rotation guy. At least early in the season.

I'm convinced Kel'el would thrive here. Went and watched some of his Oregon film and he already looks good. The metrics back it up as well. He's a rebounding and block monster. He's not just amazing offensively but by no means bad. Can score in a variety of ways and can hit an occasional 3.

I was under the impression that he struggled more this year than he actually did. Seems like it might be a case of a player and coach just not meshing.

He would be a huge pick up.

We have to have some departures/commitments today right?

Seems like last year commitments came first and we were able to infer the amount of departures from that

You're probably right with that. The transfer portal extends into mid-May and kids don't have to declare for the draft until late April. So I wouldn't be suprised if we don't know the full scope of our roster for another month or so.

I feel the same. Our defense with him, TB, Walsh.

That's tough to defend as well and open up for our guards to do some damage.

Seems like the consensus is:

100% gone:

AB
NSJ
Kamani (no eligibility)

Leaning to return:

Walsh
Brazile
Pinion

Uncertain:

Devo
RC4
Mitchells
Dunning
Ford
Graham

Let's just say we get 100% of the return leans back and 50% of the uncertains

So 6.5 total, 6 or 7 roster spots + 2 commits. 8 or 9 scholarships spoken for. So I'm guessing we take 4-5 transfers.

We took 5 last year and 4 were committed by April 7th.

So yeah the next week and a half should be interesting

Kentucky's Sahvir Wheeler

Vanderbilt's Jordan Wright

I saw both of these mentioned in an article as possibilities, but I don't know if the writer has info or just throwing shite at the wall.

It's hard to know who they're seriously after if you don't hear of an in home visit or hosting a recruit...

Another name is Freddy Hicks of Tarleton State

Yeah I am crazy high on Fall, second best big in the class. And I know how much Muss loves defense so I expect him to start quickly or right away as the best defending big in the class.

No thanks, we don't need any more mental issue type players that check out and give 50% effort and the head coach and teammates end up hating.

For as much as y'all hated on Nick all year, it's hilarious to see you turn course for Ware who did exactly what you thought Smith was doing all year.

There were the same criticisms when he was in high school. Didn’t practice hard, took plays off, etc. he would be a great fit if he can handle Muss’s intensity, I’m just not sure that he can/would.

I don't think I've said anything negative about NSJ at all other than he needed to let the game come to him more at times.

The way I see it, that's either not true or someone is going to get ahold of him and figure out how to get another 25% out of him and he'll be one of the best players in the country

Sounds like we told Hunter thanks but no thanks. He's announced he has reopened recruitment and no longer will stick to his list of 5 schools.

Let the speculation of somebody unexpected returning or a high target transfer coming in begin.
