And how the frick you gonna get upset over someone saying "LSU sucks" when you have 80,000+ people yelling "suck that tiger dick, bitch" at LSU home football games?
Seems like maybe he's got a corndog stuck up his arse.
I went to a football game in Baton Rouge with my brother and a group of friends when I was maybe 15 or 16, and their ADULT fans were literally following us around yelling "TIIIGAH BAIT!" nonstop. We were a group of kids and teenagers
The next game I went to down there a couple years later, there was a tailgate that had maybe 6 to 8 kids attending with parents - kids that ranged from about 5 to 12 years old. The parents let these elementary kids follow us throughout the entire grounds of the stadium unattended for over an hour, screaming "TIIIGAH BAIT!" at us nonstop. They followed us throughout tailgates, we were standing in line for concessions and the group of kids just stood off to the side screaming the entire time, they followed us throughout the concourse
In short, they have NO ROOM to complain about shite. Their fans are by far and away the worst, most trashy and inhospitable in the country

Dave Van Horn said he did not write Will McEntire's name on the lineup card today.
He said he came through the clubhouse later and McEntire's name was on the board.
"I guess he wrote it on there," Van Horn said.

Crazy that Arkansas and A&M are the only 2 teams in the West with conference records of .500 or better.
LSU and Auburn being 2 of the bottom 3 teams is definitely a surprise, but lot of baseball yet to be played. Both of those squads are better than their current conference records would indicate.
Some other observations:
- UK hasn’t exactly played a murderer’s row, but I think they’re being slept on. They’ve been at or near the top of the conference rankings in several team pitching and hitting stats.
- MSU is plucky this year. They won the LSU series, played A&M close in a 1-2 series, then were a Jac Caglianone walkoff 2 run homer from winning the Florida series.
- Something’s off with Vandy, They swept Missouri but every game was close and low scoring, and that’s a weekend after they were swept by South Carolina.

With 3 SEC weekends in the books, it might be fair to take a look at SEC-only stats to get a pulse of who’s hot and who’s struggling.
Stovall - .382/.476/.647
White - .323/.400/.387
Edmunson - .313/.421/.438
Aloy - .281/.429/.563
Wilmsmeyer - .267/.333/.300
Diggs - .216/.293/.568
McLaughlin - .200/.366/.433
Souza - .200/.333/.500
Lovich - .200/.368/.533
Sprague-Lott - .172/.314/.276
ETA - only listed those with 15+ at bats in SEC play. Helfrick, Wagner, Holt, Rowland, Jones, Polk all have 5 or less SEC at bats.

I'd just as as soon give up the #1 regular season spot to Oregon State.
It's probably likely anyway we will hit a bit of a lull at some point in the season. Whereas, Oregon State plays no one all season long.
There's three players that really stand out to me....Hagen, Mac, and Stovall. All three have been above and beyond solid. McLaughlin's glove gets an honorable mention also.

Love Diggs, but he’s quietly been dogwater at the plate in SEC play.

May have to be Clemson instead. Oregon State dropped their series this weekend to unranked USC.
But the point definitely still stands.

100%.
I don't want him to transfer. He needs more play.

This is Holts last year no matter what

I'm sure he'll be in the lineup tonight. I hope Carter can get a few innings as well. We'll need him coming out of the pen as the season progresses.

Holt at 3B. Please be good over there.

Holt got credited with a single. Good for him. I’d like to see him find a spot.
