I somewhat like where we are at, considering the amount of injuries we've had. We just need to continue improving, get a healthy Tygart back and see where we wind up.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Diamond Hog freshman’s nuts drop faster than Gage Wood’s have this season.
He was a train wreck his first time out and he’s grown into a consistent 9 out save guy.

Hogs are 11-1 in 3 run games, and that doesn’t include game 1 against LSU which went to extras. That’s a pretty incredible record in close games, and an indicator of clutchness.
Knowing how to win close games and being able to pull them out is the stuff that matters in regionals, not beating the shite out of teams and then flaming out (see Tennessee last year).
