Also, this will be first season, in what seems like forever, that Kole Ramage will not be an option to come out of the bullpen.

Mark Ethridge of D1 really likes us this year.

What's gonna be funny is when Hudson Polk is gonna be the starting C over Parker Rowland if his bat comes around like it sounds it might be.

We're going to have to really be clicking on all cylinders to get by LSU this year.

D1 has Polk starting.

Possibly, have heard that for 2 straight preseasons between us and Tenn running the table as #1 no one as talented etc and neither made Omaha so frick LSU too. Lose at the box to Stony Brook part 2.

I think we can say Tennessee was legit. They just got baseball'd.
Obviously I like our chances but there's no denying the semitruck load of talent LSU just had delivered this offseason. They're gonna be different than they have been the last few years. Rightfully the front-runners, IMO.

Also, I see Coll starting at SS if he can calm his nerves before the season starts. He's a much better bat as well. No more Jake Nesbit types or Jack Kenley pre-senior year.

Tennessee peaked way early and couldn't improve thus was knocked out.
When is it the last time a number one won it all?

Miami in ‘99.
Only reason I remember is because we heard that ad nauseum headed into the 2021 postseason.

It is meaningless. Kopps took Arkansas to a level that they shouldn't be that year but he couldn't do it by himself and Arkansas lost to the better team in NC State.
The next year in my opinion was better than the year before because the pitching was better and didn't have to cling to one pitcher the whole year.

and they turned out to be damn good in Omaha too. Sad what the NCAA did to them.

I'm ready to have several good arms this year. Last season felt way too shaky with pitching. It's amazing we went as far as we did.

According to DVH yesterday, Wiggins is injured and like won't be available on opening weekend.

That should give Hollan the start. I'm really excited to watch this kid pitch.

The production quality and announcers will be shitty, and I will gladly pay them for their inferior product.

I’ve never forgiven that offense with how they let Kopps down in game 3 against NCSU.
He pitched heroic ball and his walk off the mound in his final game at BWS should’ve been as the winning pitcher with a lead, but our freaking offense could only muster 4 hits.
Him gutting out 8 innings and making it to the 9th after his incredible workload all season should go down as one of the most iconic performances in Arkansas sports history.
