He is hitting 30 points higher than he did last year and still playing really good defense. We’ve definitely started worse hitters than Slavens before, even though he is really streaky.

I’d feel better with 20 wins. Last year we had 18 and didn’t even host a regional.
I’d hate to be on a 5 game losing streak when the committee is try to split hairs on the 7-10 seed.
