Polk looks better at the plate than previously . Maybe giving him some SEC game experience will help.

Grand slam by Georgia ties the game in the bottom of the 9th.

Can’t make this shite up.

ETA — and next batter hits a first pitch homer to walk it off.

Why in the frick did Hobbs use Bybee instead of Carter in that situation? Carter threw 38 pitches Thursday so he should have been good for an inning.

That was a must win with Josenberger being out for who knows how long

The 90's Braves would have never blown that lead.

I’m with you. I was certain we’d put Carter in in the 9th given his Thursday workload.

I don’t know what the hell Hobbs was doing rolling with Foutch for the 9th and then running out Bybee.

I believe DVH said it was the best bullpen he's ever had at the spatters club.

This team has problems all over the field, but to let this win slip away was unacceptable.

Got to do a hat’s off to those 2 hitters though, they delivered big time.

The luck of the Hogs came through big time this weekend.

He said deepest, and it probably would be if you add the injured guys back to it.Between Tygart and Frank he is missing probably 10 innings of very solid pitching per weekend. Add that to what we have and the bullpen would be pretty good.

With Smith back in the rotation you would have Tygart, Frank, Wood, Carter, Adcock, and Foutch. That would win you a lot of games.

This team has some tough series coming up.

Aggies at home.

State on the road.

South Carolina at home.

Vandy on the road.

We're screwed with the injuries, poor infield defense and holes in the lineup

Ole Miss at full strength last year is better than this team. They could hit the ball better and had better pitching. I think they were ranked number one before the season began.

You’re right.

As someone who’s used the “Ole Miss last year” line myself a bit too much, I went back and looked and they were actually ranked pretty highly in almost every statistical category in SEC play last year.
