The difference in this team and teams past is this group isnt as physical, but if you give them space they will eat you alive.

Second half Buzz went to normal A&M make it ugly and it worked. They tightened up their defense and Shows did his thing.

Not really surprised they came back. They always give us fits.

I am surprised everybody sucked off Taylor who took 46 attempts to get to 41 points while Mark got 35 points in 18.

Mark was on a mission tonight.

Also the lack of rebounding was ridiculous. It seems they got the majority of points off of offensive rebounds and easy put backs. Frustrating as hell…

They are the #1 team in the country at offensive rebounds.

There’s not many players in the game like Mark anymore. A strong SG who strongly leans on creating mid range and around the basket opportunities. Like MJ and Kobe, it’s an art. Such a better product that watching teams jack threes all game.

This team has the pieces to get in the tourney. I don’t think anyone would want to face Muss with Davis and Mark in the tourney. Just got to grind out wins like last night to get there. Different year same story.

Our guards are very much tournament caliber and as deep as anyone’s. We can go as far as Lawson can carry our soft as front court

The thing that bothers me about this group is the absolute stupid shite they do, for no reason.

Whether it is Brazile kicking someone on the ground, Devo kicking a guy in the nuts, Mitchell just shoving a guy in the back. It is just crazy to me. That just seems like a lack of care, at all, for the team or the program.

The undisciplined play puts me in the corner of, show me for quite a few games in a row before I jump on board with this being another one of Muss's slow start, getting it rolling type of teams.

We are in a big arse NET hole right now and there are going to have to be some big wins to get us out of it (Kentucky, at Ole Miss, Tennessee, @ Miss State, @ aTm, @ Kentucky, and @ Alabama) and no bad losses (@ Missouri, @ LSU, Missouri, Vanderbilt, LSU).

Coming off a shite football season, this team has been a real kick in the nuts.

Lack of effort and lack of discipline have really stood out.

This is a great collection of players that have been a real shitty team.

Lunardi now has Arkansas as "on the bubble" within the SEC behind Florida (next four out) and Georgia. He shows Arkansas at #93 overall. As a reference, South Carolina is one of the Last Four In, and they are #43 overall.

It would really be a step in the right direction to follow up the aTm win and beat South Carolina at home this weekend.

This team cannot rest on it's laurels.

So what, you won a game. Do it again. Get better tomorrow.

You almost lost the game you had control of.

We need someone, other than Mark, to be primary ball handler. Mark provides too much on both ends of the court to make him play out of position essentially running PG. He could have the same point production if we had a PG that dribble drives and kicks. Leaving him space to shoot, drive, pass etc..

Ellis played better, but to my eye he still isn't comfortable running PG. He can't process things quick enough.

Menifield can be that guy, but he really has to focus on passing the ball rather than taking tough contested floaters. Work on getting assists early in the game as opposed to scoring. If he starts doing that the points will come easier throughout the game for him. Defense will have to adjust and give more space for him to get all the way to the basket, not short of it.

Also defensively Menifield has to punch above his weight. He cannot fall asleep at all.

Our big men need to start acting like big men.

Brazile is providing almost nothing of value right now. He has to rebound and get put backs if he's going to help this team. His three point shot isn't falling at a high enough clip so he needs to crash the boards. Also his pick and roll defense has been awful lately.

Mitchell is more well rounded, but he needs to be strong with the ball. Also when he gets the ball down low he needs to score. Too many times I see him be right at the goal and pull the ball out.

Graham still needs to improve rebounding and defense. His skills on offense are noticeable, but sometimes he over does things with his footwork. I've never seen a guy get in the post pump fake, pivot, and be wide open and not go up. Like dude you juked the guy why don't you go up. Instead he freezes and repeats the process often taking a much harder shot than he had. At least he takes a shot opposed to Mitchell freaking out and pulling the ball back out.

Also we have to get Battle back in the rotation.

But he has to earn his minutes by playing defense. And being a more willing passer.

He can get better at both, so I expect him to be playing sooner rather than later.

He could be a spark coming off the bench if he will put forth the effort.

Didnt like how we didn't take advantage of their big man sitting out and their back up in foul trouble.

The series we had 5 on 4 when the aggie player had a cut on his eye. Brazile shot a 3.

We are going to waste a season where we have one of the best female players in the country on the squad aren't we?
