How does a team that's supposed to be defensive minded give up 75% shooting for most of the 2nd half? Just unreal

We don’t play good defense, which is why not playing Graham and Pinion more is stupid.
I understand Muss has had two good NCAA runs, but his coaching and decisions so far this season are big issues IMO.
He and this team exhaust extremely too much energy worrying about the officiating. The team does it because Muss does it.

Kentucky has been solidly mediocre outside of 2-3 years in the beginning with them.

I don’t understand the construction of this team. 6 of 8 perimeter players can’t shoot. And apparently can’t defend either? What was the plan to win games.

I don't like relying on freshman as much as we do it's too much of a mixed bag and Walsh is just not a good basketball player right now

It all comes down to having guys that can shoot, and having a willing defensive team. The reason the defense is so important is because you can fall back on that if the offense isn't clicking.
Well the beginning of this season, we had that defense. But lately it's like we just quit playing it in the second half. I don't know if it's tired legs or what, but you cannot give up that many points in the 2nd half if you want to win ball games.
