Ford is probably the worst shooter on the team outside of the big men, and that's saying something.
I have no idea how Dunning shoots, but it's obviously not good enough or Miss would be playing him at least a little bit in spots.

Pinion’s shooting ability has been a boost but he took one shot yesterday in 14 minutes. We’re gonna need a lot more than that before we start talking about not needing NSJ.

If anyone was so inclined, our girls basketball team traveled to Columbia today and beat 14-2 (3-0) Missouri by 22. I’m sure you could do something with that.

Same. They beat 3 unranked teams like Neighbors always does and then they'll get creamed by all the others.

If Pinion’s gonna be the answer to our shooting woes, we’re gonna need him to do more than run to the corner and wait for someone to pass him the ball.

Pinion's game plan by Muss seems to be to tell him to go stand in the corner on every possession and wait for a breakdown in the opposition defense.
That also seems to be the game plan whenever Ford gets in the game as well, which doesn't make sense since he's such a bad shooter.
All in all, I don't think Muss trusts any of the freshman that werent McD All Americans.
He's going to have to have to get Pinion more involved or every conf game is going to be a struggle. You just can't win shooting 12% from 3.

He wants Pinion in the corner because it drags one defender further out of the driving lanes. Which allows our guards to drive with less traffic.
Problem is our guards not passing to him Saturday night.
There were at least three opportunities that the ball handler could have made the easy pass to him for an open look. They instead turned it over or took a terrible shot.

It looks like that. I've watched a couple of their games this year and against average teams we look like a Final 4 team. Against good teams we look like a First 4 Out squad.

I still want someone to explain to me how we can have this much talent on a team and can't shoot a lick. It's driving me crazy!
I know NSJ solves some of that issue if he can get healthy but Pinion has got to be a higher option in the offense or this loss is going to turn into a string of losses.
I'd play a 2-3 or Pack line man against this team and never send a defensive man further out than the elbow. So far we've proven we can't shoot it well enough to get anyone out of a zone.

Posted this a week or two ago but from a number’s perspective Bama is a great matchup for us. Would not shock me at all to see us win this one at BWA.
If we don’t, it really puts us behind the 8 ball resume wise. The rest of our opportunities for signature wins are all on the road

ESPN BPI has us as a 2 pt favorite. It feel like home court advantage is worth 10 points this year.
