For sure.

One of the most composed freshman PG's I've ever seen.

The moment was never to big for him and he was a competitive SOB.

It would be a blessing if he came back. But in all likelihood.. HE GONE.

If we’re going to stay with this iso ball positionless basketball I hope we start bringing in dudes who can shoot. I’ll be disappointed if Ford and Pinion leave. Some investment in player development would be nice.

Yeah AB is gone. Good for him. He wasn’t a flawless player but he was very selfless. I appreciated his mentality.

I could be wrong but our offense this year didn't look very similar to the previous years to me. The ideas may have been the same but the execution never reached previous levels. Ball movement never seemed to be as crisp and decisive as I'd gotten accustomed to seeing by February/March. I'm not sure this year's team is a good indicator. They struggled to execute all year.

Hell, they couldn't even hit free throws.

When two starters go down early in the season it changes your offense, we over achieved given the injuries and schedule but unfortunately not given the overall top to bottom talent.

Still enjoyed and am proud of this group

This team overcame a shite ton and did a great job maintaining the program's momentum. Hoping for a more senior team with better injury luck next year

We should hold heads high knowing we just made it to another sweet 16. Imagine the mental toughness the kids that stay are going to have.

Devo is gonna get him a natty next year

I thought it looked similar but with worse players running it. We didn’t have Justin Smith, Stanley Umude or Jaylin Williams, Trey Wade or Au’Diese Toney. Honestly it was the first time that Muss has downgraded at multiple positions in the offseason.

Yeah that's why I'm saying we probably shouldn't use this year as the barometer for what Muss wants out of an offense. Just one of those years.

What I'll remember about AB is that he never quits hustling. Other players can be standing around, but he's still giving everything he has.

I agree, we had higher expectations at the start of the year, but literally no other coach could have gotten this group out of that situation. Take any other teams best 3p shooters out at the start of the season and see if they make the sweet 16

I keep seeing certain names pop up in the portal like the UCA guard and the Wyoming big man.

I still hope he looking for two 6'4"-6'6" 22 yr olds who can absolutely stroke it and a 240 lb tank down low to go with Brazille.

I won’t fault Muss on a lot. You had our together what appeared to be a final four roster. Your main offensive focus tore his ACL and then the supposed best recruit in the country gets hurt and it brings drama to the program for months.

We have find some outside offense next year. Teams have figured out you just have to pack it in on Muss. We’ll never be more than a 16/elite 8 team if we don’t. 37% from two ain’t winning anything.

Just a rough year where the team constantly took one step forward then two back.

We were also being linked to Demarcus Sharp from Northwestern State.

6'3'' senior that averaged 19.5 a game including 54% from 3pt and 80% from the line.

I also feel like our guards need to spend a week this summer with Isaiah Joe and spend every day in the gym getting a couple hundred 3’s up a day.

I'm assuming:
Gone to PROs or graduation
Kamani, Black, Smith, Mitchell, mitchell

would benefit from staying potentially but could go elsewhere:
Walsh, brazille,Council

Expected to return
Davis
Pinion
Ford
Dunning

Incoming:
Fall
Blocker

Potential starting team:
Davis
Brazille/Walsh/council (if any stay)
Fall
Blocker
Pinion

Unless Muss is confident in Walsh & Brazille returning we're probably looking for a transfer big man. I think both would definitely benefit from returning and I hope the NIL deals make it a reality.

We'll have a couple of starters we haven't even heard of yet. Muss has contacted a bunch.

I simply don't see how any of these ever play meaningful minutes with what Muss wants from his teams.

Maybe Dunning because of his size, bur he seemed to be the very end of the bench for most of the year.

if you made an 8 man rotation of the best players muss has had since he's been here

IMHO

Tate
Jones
Moody
Smith
wiiliams

davis
black
noate

we have one player on this team that would crack that rotation IMHO. we just weren't that good. we had stars but not talent. we downgraded at multiple positions.

we need experienced good players.

I’d have to put Umude in there.
