Strickly my takes from last night:
Musselman allowed his "6" players to get gassed by not substituting or using timeouts.
Buzz outcoached the shite out of Muss.
Council needs to come off the bench and not play ~38 minutes.
If Smith is as good as the NBA Scouts seem to think then get his arse on the court to prove it.
Pinion and Graham need 10-15 minutes a game in the right situations.

He'd be awesome if we could hit some outside shots. The middle of the lane would be wide open. I can see what Muss wanted to do. He probably never expected us to be this bad from outside.

I agree. If he's healthy start playing then shite out him so he can get into a groove.

Seems like Muss needs to either be all in or all out on Smith. Either are better options than what we're doing now

Maybe his handlers are in control of his minutes played.

They were bad from inside last night too, our starting guards went 11-33 from the field. Yikes!

I'll say this and I know it will probably sound dumb....
but if this is what it's like to live life around a bunch of 1 and done 5* kids....
give me the 3 and 4 * kids that want to be here and want to work their butts off to win as a team.
This team is an exercise in frustration and sometimes downright insanity.
Saturday, play the crap out of Smith... even in crunch time when he's had no significant action in over a month.. probably cost us the game.
Last night... really needed another body down the stretch for a team that is struggling offensively... Smith and Jalen... arguably 2 of your best pure scorers, don't move off the bench hardly at all.
Muss is one heck of a coach but there's no way to convince me he doesn't get tunnel vision with his roster late in games. I've seen it too many times. Sometimes they survive it, sometimes they don't. But GEEZ MAN!!!

I'll take one and dones that want to play. You can't replace Black and Walsh.
Council and Devo just get dumb or disappear when NSJ is part of the team. Devo played lights out during the winning streak and then just got dumb when NSJ returned. Council, I don't know what happened. He will probably return. His NBA draft stock is falling after looking good in December.
The Mitchell twins have been a lot better than advertised as of late.
Graham needs to buy in or he'll be gone at the end of the season.
I will say that Muss needs to stop just recruiting athletes that play basketball and actually find us some basketball players, that play smart, can shoot, and create some for themselves. It's nice to play great defense, but if you can't shoot, what's the point?

Who plays great defense? This shite is a myth this year. We haven’t been able to stop anyone besides a terrible Kentucky team.
LSU, SC, Vandy, Miss State and A&M all scored at will against us down the stretch.
Devo is solid but he is absolutely wrecked in the last 5 minutes of every game.
Don’t even get me started on council.
Walsh does the same dumb shite over and over again. Fouls out 50 feet from the basket on a free throw miss?

We depend on too many young players and our best interior player is out for the year.

To be fair, Muss has mentioned a lot of our guys have been battling injuries. Which over the course of a game will create even more fatigue and lead to defensive break downs.
But it's on coach to use his bench if it's that big of an issue.

That's a feature not a bug if here muss tell it.... Just like the timeout thing

He literally looked like he had never seen a basketball court before. Hate to say it but him entering the fray messed up the mojo. 0-2 since his return.
We were leading in the half that he played. Yea, he wasn't good but neither was anyone else really besides Devo. Until he wasn't.
You cannot sit here and tell me it was solid coaching leaving Council in down the stretch. He was terrible and has been most of the conference year as others have said.
We lost to LSU, Vandy and nearly to SC without Smith. I really don't think its a Smith problem.
And even if it is, this is the bed Muss has made and he's doing a dog shite job managing it right now. You're never going to convince its a good look playing a lottery pick 4 minutes in a loss.

We scored 25 in the first half at home against State and 23 against Aggie in the second half last night.
It's not a injury issue sunshine pumper.

What I don't understand is NSJ is supposed to be our best pure scorer and he isn't on the floor at the end of the game when we need a bucket.

If that’s still the case, it makes his personnel decisions last night look even worse.

It’s crazy to think we have THREE McDonald’s AA on this roster right now and this is what we look like.

Devo missed two wide open threes and 3 free throws in the last two minutes. We were in a position to take control of that game but couldn’t get the big bucket. That’s really all you can ask for on the road against a good team.

Hate to say it but this is a final four team under Nolan.

Nolan had shooters. This team doesn’t,
