They’re considerably better at rebounding than us but they shoot much worse. We’ll need to prevent them from getting a bunch of offensive rebounds like A&M and South Carolina did.

They have the slowest pace in the league, if we start getting some fast breaks they won’t be able to keep up.

I’ve noticed a lot of times we’re not really urgent to push in transition. Probably coming from Muss because there was a stretch there where I every time we tried to run in transition something bad happened.

To me transition offense looked like NSJ’s strength so maybe his return changes that a little

MSU starting lineup and depth chart

Their big man Tolu Smith is averaging about 18 points a game. Rest of their team is nothing special.

We've won 3 in a row. You don't mess with that. Better question is who comes off the bench first.

Line is only 6.5. They are practically begging people to bet on the hogs. Bet the farm on state.

My guess is

Ricky
Devo
Black
Makhel
Makhi

Need some size to deal with Tolu and get some rebounds, he’s nearly averaging a double double, 18/9.

Fouls, fouls everywhere... I bet. I just don't believe we will get 2 games in a row called as well as KY!

That’s not a lot with all the positive factors favoring us. I think we’ll win by 12-14.

Their Head Coach is Chris Jans formerly of New Mexico State who the Hogs beat in the 2nd Rd of the NCAAT last year. So, he and Muss are familiar with each other. I think Jans is about to see how much more talented this team is compared to last year's team.

Feels good to be excited about ball again. I get depressed when we don't play well.

Curious if Jans will get caught up in anything currently going on at NMSU. They had a player kill someone earlier this seas and just suspended their program in what they say is not related to the killing a few months back.

It looks like everything has been happening under current Head Coach and former Will Wade assistant, Greg Haier. Jans got out at the right time though.

I like how Nate Oats had a player kill someone and no one has said another word about it.

What happens in Tuscaloosa stays in Tuscaloosa.

At the very least, Smith gives us five more fouls to give, which actually means a lot.
