He should be the 2nd guard to come in and run point, Lykes comes in for last minute free throws and to run the clock out

Did anyone see KK in the last minites of the game? For the life of me, I can't understand how this kid is not getting significant minutes

The rub on KK is his defense. But Lykes and Davis aren't great defenders either.

I was happy to see the lineup change. Wade needs 25 minutes a game imo.

Beat LSU and we may have something going.

With all due respect…which likely isn’t that much really….that’s asinine.

Elite 8 last year with a tough loss to the NC. Top 2 recruiting class signed.

And you put that out there with this much season left no doubt.

That’s not my definition of a fan or even a knowledgeable critic. Sounds more like a has been wanna be pontificating on what he actually has zero real experience with.

Damn people get their panties in a bunch quick over opinions they disagree with.

I said that with the assumption that this season doesn’t get turned around in some fashion (not that it can’t be turned around still)

Yes a mediocre year next year with maybe the most talented roster in the country, right after a terrible season this year would have Muss on the hot seat. Not necessarily fired but he would feel some pressure.

Sorry if that makes me a has been lol

I didn’t agree or disagree with your “opinion”. It didn’t warrant that much consideration.

I just pointed out that it was asinine.

Yeah I don’t get the Lykes playing time, he looks like a child playing in the old man league. Can he hit free throws? Yes, which is imperative since he can get buckets elsewhere.

You didn't?

Do you know what quotation marks around a word mean?

Purely an effort and focus thing this year.

He still makes some nice saavy plays because he is so long and gifted but he's been sloppy and undisciplined all year. Just cruises around like he's the best player in the league.

It was against the worst team in the league but he filled up the stat sheet like we know he is capable.

Hope it continues against the better opponents.

So muss isn't making the trip to LSU this weekend

Biggest game of the year and he elects to have his rotator cuff repaired.

Coach had successful surgery to repair his torn rotator cuff this morning. He’s home resting and won’t make the trip to LSU this weekend, but we know the team is in good hands!

Huge thank you to Dr Cox and his amazing staff, and to everyone that has sent prayers and well wishes

I got an 80 yr old grandma whos living life needing rotator cuff and back surgery. Suck it up buttercup.

Yeah I don’t get the timing but we all may want to skip the LSU game on Saturday. That one could get ugly really quickly

Biggest game of the year?

We wouldn’t win this game with last years team. Y’all need to chill.

Besides Wade fell on him, that dude is sneaky fat/thicc. Had to have hurt.

He tried to coach with pain, but it finally got to be too much and the Arkansas Razorbacks’ men’s basketball coach finally said enough.

quote:

After more than a month of living with the pain and discomfort — which kept him up at night — Musselman had surgery Thursday morning to repair a full tear to the supraspinatus and partial tears to the infraspinatus and subscapularis tendons in his left shoulder.

Those tendons help with movement of the arm, so every time he moved his left arm, he was greeted with a hard shock of pain.

Damn, my wife says the same thing about me

But seriously, are y'all really melting over Musselman choosing to have surgery right now and missing a couple games? I doubt anyone that's had a torn rotator cuff injury would be blaming him, I'll say that much. It's constant pain and agony unless you take it easy and rest the whole time, but even then it still has to be surgically repaired.

I know some fans here will blame him being gone if we lose to LSU, but the result would've been the same with or without him. Think about it for a minute, you really think he isn't still making a game plan and adjustments for his assistants to stick to for the game? Having him courtside won't change the outcome, but I know several here will think so and bitch about it

Being a coach is his job, would you put off surgery if you were miserable and in pain every time you moved for YOUR job? I know I wouldn't, because my family and my health comes before my career. It's the fans that have unreasonable outlooks and expectations, to him it's an easy decision.

There's a reason he waited and decided to do it now, maybe the Mizzou drubbing has something to do with it? Think about it, he trusts his assistants and that his team has turned a corner. We're lucky he's tough and waited this long to have the surgery, he was waiting until his team had some confidence.

Once again Lykes can’t shoot a 3 because he is too small. He can’t bang in the paint because he is too small, please tell me his purpose?

Notae pulled down a wide open 3 and passed it, not at mid court but just behind the line. Then he tries to shoot a 3 into the LSU defenders arms deep.

Because I don’t know why. He has hit a few important mid range shots today but jacking up that 3 was just stupid. Almost as stupid as Notae shooting a 3 with a guy standing right in front of him who could block it.
