Well for the people that don't like the transfer route, we have five freshman coming in

As long as Muss learned something in the transfer session I'm not too concerned for the future. Seemed like now we went for more big names and less solid fits. Can't ignore having a legit point guard in the future.

Even the shittiest Hog teams win that game at home tonight.

Pathetic.

If you would have told me that Toney would have 20 and Umude would have 28... I would have thought we had blown Vandy out.

If these are “big names”, I don’t want to know what the alternative is.

It's baffling how bad we are

It really kind of is, we have a rotating set of players that string a game or two together thats good but go back to mediocre play after

I'm guessing Umude scores 4 points next game and Wade scores 20 in a loss

And Notae with 15.

Unreal.

I mean by most metrics there were, this was considered one of the better transfer classes in the country. It lost some shine when certain teams had good players added late but still was considered good.

I had to stop watching about 4-5 games ago. Just can't watch Notae throw shite up, maybe it's changed since I stopped watching, but the results make me think not.

Nope it’s exactly the same. He was one for seven from three tonight. Almost none of them were open threes.

What the hell happened with Devo tonight? I missed the first half.

Got two fairly quick fouls and they were very unnecessary.

It was kind of clear that Muss didn't want to play Lykes much but Devo early foul trouble and playing terrible in the 2nd half forced his hand.

They are leading scorers from different teams. But they aren't good playing together. It won't get any better. The portal works better in football because everyone plays a different position but in basketball, they all want to score and take the credit.

Yep. 3 point defense continues to kill us. Vandy is a bad shooting team but made 10 threes with all the open looks we gave them.

This will be a rough year like the pelphrey 2nd year. Hopefully this is a learning experience for Muss that creating a team from the portal like an NBA draft or free agency, isn't going to turn out good. I sense zero positive energy from this team. Just a bunch of players that are here and that is it. It is just a matter of time before they quit.

At this point I hope the recruiting class can come in next year and completely change the dynamic of this team. Thank god Nick Smith is a point guard.

Holding that class together is priority #1. I don't give two shits about the team this year. Lack of effort and selfish play is the quickest way to get me to check out and they showed that in spades.

It will. I believe after a bad year like this, Muss will be very motivated with freshmen that are hungry. It happened last year.

These transfers are the opposite. Some are seniors and when the season and draft status goes down the drain then they start showing some quit.

They all want to score, but we have alumini that maybe could explain to them that you can make a career in the NBA by just doing your job. Beverly is still in the league by doing what he is being paid to do. Corliss before him and Robertson before that.

He can al bring in the guys who washed out of the NBA in no time due to their "I'm the man, I'm a scorer" mindset. He's coached one, he has one on the staff who's suppose to be mentoring them.

He could also bring in one of the guys who was their NBA teams man like Joe Johnson and have him explain how he wasn't even the best player on his college team.

Maybe that will click with enough of them to play their role and do their job as whatever he and his staff has been trying hasn't worked thus far.

it sucked to see for sure...

I just don't get it. No real chemistry between them at all. They played on teams before that had to work together... Dang!!
