All I know is, this team fights and smoothly moves the floor like no other team Musselman has had so far at Arkansas. The amount of athleticism jumps off the screen, especially against teams like K-State who just looked like they were in slow motion against Arkansas.

I thought it was going to be a monumental task replacing Justin Smith, but Toney has done it wirh violence and fire.

#9 Memphis loses to Iowa State.

#10 Bama lost the other day Iona.

Hogs should move up quite a bit as long as we take care of business Sunday.

Gonzaga too. Did we just successfully move the Hogs up to #3?

Zags will drop to 3 or 4 at worst. That was one heck of a ballgame.

I figure will be in the 7-9 spot.

I’d probably move Duke to 1 and Gonzaga to 2. Those were two extremely evenly matched teams. Hopefully they match up again in April and we get the winner.

Illinois is #14 behind us already, Kansas won't fall that far most likely.

We'll jump Houston though.

6-0. Nifty little team and offense Penn runs.

Shot like arse again from 3. Guess that’s a good thing?

we're eventually gonna drop one if we can't hit 3 pointers.

we're not getting good shots. mussselman really needs to work out shot selection the next 3 games.

Upcoming run of games blows.

Don’t see us dropping one even if we shoot 1% from 3.

Did some statistic research on the team. And here is what is shaking out in the court so far.

So Notae is critical to the team and is easily top 5 in every category and leads points and steals per game.

Jwill leads assists and rebounds. Hes a player for sure. I'd love to see him get more time down low but he's our best passer. He could use some free throw practice but he's big enough it's acceptable.

Then your clear 3rd piece is toney. He's all over the place making plays and it shows.

Then here's where it gets dicey. I remember Davis making plays at critical moments but statistically he's a liability on the court with a 2.8 assist to 2.2 turn over per game. He does contribute steals and some rebounding. Need more points and assists herez less turnovers. Would like to see more cutting and movement as well as passing down low for assists.

Lykes doesn't turn the ball over.... Or play defense. He does score though.

Umude appears to be continuing to earn minutes and you can see him creeping up the stats as a clear player.really see him emerging as a big threat.

Then you have our 7th man in the rotation that muss likes to use. He seems to be switching between Vanover and Wade here. Vanover getting more minutes and producing a lot more while on the floor. Also averaging 0 turnovers where Wade has had some. I like Vanover here as he's actually improved a bit will be interesting to see how he does as competition toughens up.

IMO Devo has been the most underwhelming player so far. He still shows glimpses of being really crafty and a great overall player but was expecting him to take that next step this year which he still has time to do.

Having said that, his state line from the last game was basically what he need from him more consistently. Two turnovers but 5 assists, two steals and five rebounds. His points will come and go. He has only taken 13 3s but its clear he is improved in that area as well.

He seems to have found his niche for Vanover, play him early in the halves.

I love our closing line up of Lykes, JD, Devo, Toney and Jwill.

Feel like so many of those players have "closer" mentalities.
