Hogs are four spots off 25th in today’s AP poll.

Somewhat related but not surprising, I was looking at kenpom this morning and our SOS is 304 out of 328

Thinking about the St Louis / Minnesota game last night... holy cow that was high-effort, physical play. Very entertaining game to watch.

A tune-up game like that would have told us something.

Oh yeah that's what I'm talking about. Atleast we've made it look easy were definitely better than the teams we've played by a large amount

This. While we struggled with ORU in the first half, we scored 57 points in the 2nd half.

Plenty of opportunity if this team does well in sec play. Little nervous that we start out with auburn but maybe they haven't gotten a chance to gel yet either.

We have a tough test against abilene tonight. Wouldn't surprise me if we lost.

If we didn't go through what we just went through with O Roberts, I would agree.

Abilene is the better team imo.

Better than arkansas or oral Roberts? No doubt they are the best team we have played but that was a wake up call on Sunday and a very good response after the terrible start.

I just don’t see Musselman letting them start like that again after last game. The only concerning thing is the short rest but I think that might be better for us to get right back out there.

I’m fading the hell out of this team against Auburn though. Seems very unrealistic to think we won’t start the game slow after a week off and playing on the road for the first time.

Oh yeah, I don't think there is any question about that

They are the highest kenpom team we have played so far except for North Texas but that has more to do with the rankings before the season started.

They are pretty meh on the offensive side of the ball. They shoot a better % from 3 than 2. If Arkansas can defend the 3 well, that should be enough.

They are very good on the defense though.

Looks like Muss will be out today due to COVID protocols. So that makes this game even more interesting.

We need to play some road games so I can reign in my expectations. That was a good team that we just cruised past today.

This team has such a high ceiling. I'm excited to see us play better teams in conference play

We have yet to play a team with dominant interior presence...
The big kid for AC was able to move Vanover around pretty effectively, but had limited impact otherwise.

Williams may be asked to grow into a bigger role as we start competing against more athletic length... looking forward to his development thru the conference slate.

I'm a big fan of Williams' frame and his passing. In his limited minutes he sometimes seems to force things but when he's playing relaxed he gives valuable minutes.

Anyone expecting Connor to be a defensive presence before the season started was getting their hopes up. He will continue to get pushed around pretty easily.
