Pretty cool note from Danny on 247 about Treylon. This staff did a phenomenal job of making up 2 years of lost time under the last staff.

Chad Morris had just wrapped up his press conference this morning when SJ Tuohy and Stepp entered the room. Stepp handed Chad the phone, Chad spoke with Treylon, hung up the phone, and Stepp proceeded to give Chad one of the most aggressive bear hugs I've seen in a while. They're pretty excited about this one for obvious reasons. It's not just about getting a great player, but one like this is a huge momentum boost for the entire program and recruiting department.
Solid job by Stepp, Joe Craddock and Morris ever since they got here and started recruiting Burks, but let's not forget Lunney was the one who started attending Burks' ninth-grade basketball games a few years ago.
Big day for Arkansas and Burks both. I asked Treylon what he's going to do to celebrate, and in typical Treylon fashion he says, "Me and Bubba (Miller) are going fishin'."

Folks are going to start noticing what Morris is putting together after this weekend. A guy like Darius has got to be taking notice. You get this guy and Henry on the same line, plus Burks out on the edge, things could get back to 2001 in a hurry.

Honestly it doesn’t seem like this staff is that interested in Darius. Perhaps he told them there was no way he was ever coming to Arkansas but they definitely aren’t putting the hard sell on him at all for whatever reason.

Hopefully behind the scenes stories will come out publicly after the instate linemen make decisions. It says a lot that Darius has not been receptive in any way or visited since the new staff.
Wilkins is different in that he’s visited but he has too many people around him pushing OU and loves the social media spotlight/attention ie the Will Gragg days.

Burks commit today pretty much assures Jadon Jackson going elsewhere. I think the staff is comfortable taking three receivers, but would take a fourth if it was Dylan Wright or Trey Knox who they obviously value more than Jackson. I think he wanted to come here too and would have been a take most years and especially under Bielema.

They’d still probably take Jackson if he’d be open to coming in as an athlete and not as a wide receiver only.

I didn’t realize before tonight that we had never signed two listed 4* WRs on Rivals in the same class. Crazy to think that’s possible but Chad’s snapped that streak in one class.

I thought Childs and Wright were both 4 star until I checked. Wright was a 4 star and Child’s was a 3 star coming out of high school.
