Yeah if martin was ever a d end I doubt he truly has the speed to go sideline to sideline in the sec. Hed be a role player or d end. Which is ok but we've got plenty of d ends. Does chavis really go see Russell every week?

I've heard otey is slow for a corner, hope that's not true. Is there any chance we take any more offensive lineman this cycle? I dont think ben hicks is worth a scholly.

Don’t think there’s any other OL that we’re on, unless it’s a grad transfer that can help immediately. Looking like we’re mainly on lber’s/ db’s for the remaining spots. Doesn’t sound like we’re giving Hicks much of a look

Immobile. Not very accurate. Makes poor decisions. He doesnt have a huge arm. Does make some good downfield throws at times. The summation of feelings from SMU fans. They are not sad to see him go. Some hate him. Some think he is ok
He did also throw to 2 starting NFL wide recievers against worse competition. We have no one like them.
So i see no reason why i would want him.

From all the reports around, it would seem the Smu kid is kind of a last resort. They are scouting every single grad transfer out there by the looks of it. They need a 1 year stop gap before Jefferson or Noland are ready and they need someone way better than ty storey.
I don't know who else is looking to transfer, but I would think there is another Gardner Minshew out there, he just has to be found.

I don't understand how he expects to move up when the article i read said he never started. He was at FAU with kiffen, and he had peavey as his starting QB. Not even kiffen could make him a good QB in his RS SR season. So im confused how he can be any good.

They actually started former 4* and OU transfer Chris Robison at QB. From what I read Johnson’s first year there he missed almost all of the season with blood clots in his arm and had to have surgery. Then this year he was mostly used in special packages as a runner.

I could have sworn i heard he was starting, and i went and checked sometime during the season, and he had stats. Now i check, and they are clearly back up stats. Well still i guess ill have to see highlights from this year of him

This is the only person i am willing to take. Like now that KB is gone (and he wasnt like the best QB ever, just miles better than what we have), and i see the rest of the market. Buechele is the only one i want. I could see us maybe holding out hope for hurts or some shite, but that feels like the biggest pipe dream ever.
How very hog of us to have the inside track on the best grad transfer QB, and we lose them to our "rival"
