If you say that you won’t sign unless you are the only QB, and there is already a QB committed, isn’t that requesting that the other QB be dropped

Pretty much. Obviously the Baylor full-court press about being the only QB they'll take worked well.

So a 2A QB from Earle is going to beat out a B12 co-freshman of the year from Lake Travis for PT next year.... count me in on skeptical of that.
Bohanon's entire ranking is based on measurables, potential and what he could be. It’s not what he is now because he’s a raw QB without much coaching and needs development.

They went 1-11 and Brewer is a pro style QB. In the last 4 games of the year (with Brewer starting) they averaged 22 points per game and that was inflated by playing Kansas. Baylor is going to have to use a lot of RPO to be successful. There is a reason Baylor brought the entire coaching staff to town after the Arkansas in home.

This is setting up to be our worst rated recruiting class ever, especially if we land no one else of note and Jones flips. You can't blame CM, but this is pretty much like taking a year off in recruiting.

He's probably got a better shot at being a starting QB, and a lot sooner to boot, at Baylor than at Arkansas, and he knows it. Less competition, if nothing else.

There are positions in football where you don't hace to be fully imvested emotionally. Quarterback is not one of those poitions though. If you look back at all great qbs they were either ferociously competitive,had a deep love for their team or both. Guys like mayfield, tebow, manziel, brady. Hell even our own guys like tyler wilson and matt jones were razorbacks to theie core. I believe having someone who is 100% on board like noland will be better in the long run anyway. He is a winner, and a hog and hes proud of it.

That’s my point. GB is their only offer for 2017. They wouldn’t be going all in on him if they didn’t think he was capable

Apparently they're more confident than he is. I'll take the kid that welcomes competition over the one that avoids it every time.

doesn't a system like chad's/malzahns not require an elite QB to perform well?
seems like a good athlete with a decent arm is all that's required to run the show
