It's been published that Gragg has worked his body into football shape, didn't add any weight just put on muscle and changed bad weight into good weight.

Chris has a house in Fayetteville and spends a lot of time here helping his brother and others out. I don't see Will putting on another 50 lbs.

also OSU safety commit Ty Thomas out of TX got an Arkansas offer today. LINK

So how do y'all feel about Bielema saying that the SEC Commissioner's office told him not to bring in the OT transfer from Michigan because of his legal issues?

I think it's both total and complete horseshite for a commissioner to tell us who to recruit and who not to when there's a long list of guys other schools have brought in with far worse issues.

It also tells me that JLo and Bert aren't ready for primetime in the SEC and don't have the stones to go head to head w/ the league powers.

Probably in anticipation of the recent tightening of the transfer restrictions enacted by the SEC.

Last year, the SEC passed a Georgia-sponsored rule to prohibit its schools from accepting transfer students who at any point of their enrollment in college had been convicted or pled guilty or no contest to serious misconduct, defined as sexual assault, domestic violence, or “other forms” of sexual violence. This week the rule was expected to include the following: Dating violence, stalking, or “conduct of a nature that creates serious concerns about the safety of others.” SEC commissioner Greg Sankey was asked about that vague wording. “It’s a vague world. It’s a recognition that you can’t define everything within one page,” Sankey said. Asked if there was a dialogue this week about expanding the legislation to include high school players, Sankey said: “We’ll continue to talk.”

As a father...I appreciate his approach in bringing in high quality guys. I need more role models for my daughter...I don't want her to know we brought in some POS into the program as I try to teach her to have good values in life and do the right thing. Just my opinion

They certainly wouldn't have told Alabama or Florida that

I completely understand your position and I lean towards that attitude as well.

What I don't like is 1) the hypocrisy of it, especially considering Simmons at MSU and the situation at Tennessee 2) the SEC offices shouldnt be telling any school who to recruit if there's not a policy in place. 3) Our guys simply standing down in light of the sleaziness and cheating at Ole Miss and there's been no statement by the SEC offices there

Soooo serious misconduct doesn't include something like battery? Some mammoth human being can beat the ever-loving frick out of some theater kid and the SEC would have no comment?

Pretty sure the commissioner said he "wasn't comfortable with" the MSU commit enrolling immediately, or something along those lines.

We could've used the player obviously, but I don't hate what CBB and JL are doing. CBB preaches a lot about the culture he wants here and how he only recruits the "good" guys. If the comish told him he didn't like it and restrictions were going to be implemented in the future to prevent similar transfers from occurring, he would've looked pretty hypocritical to go against that.

I think CBB's standards are high enough on transfers that the SEC office shouldn't be any higher. If they are tougher, then they are probably a little too tough.

I guess I could stomach all the die hard Texas stuff on his Twitter if he's good enough to slide Ragnow to guard

Not really. He was set to go to UCLA until Strong blocked that citing that they were on Texas' schedule.

UNC thinks they're getting him.

If KA can sway him to be a hog I'll be 1000000% behind him.

Arkansas signee Ben Rortvedt was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the second round of the 2016 MLB Draft on Thursday.

Rortvedt, a catcher from Verona, Wis., was the 56th overall selection, which has a $1,141,000 signing bonus value, according to MLB.com.

The MLB signing deadline is July 15.

“It’s on my mind every day,” Rortvedt told the Wisconsin State Journal two weeks ago about his decision process. “I want to play professional baseball, but I have a great school lined up to go to. It’s a win-win situation.”

As a senior, Rortvedt hit .393 with 11 RBIs during the regular season, despite being pitched around. During his junior year, he hit .463 with five home runs and 29 RBIs.

Baseball America rated him as the 82nd overall prospect and second-best prep catcher in the country entering the draft.

doubt that too. I don't recall him taking an official here. He EE'd at Texas and Texas gets their commits early. Especially during the time he was a HS Sr.
