Probably doesn’t give two flying rats arse. He’s like the guy in your company that retires that hopes his replacement doesn't do better, so that everyone says… damn we should have hired this person long time ago.
Probably in his head.. smiling.. saying to himself.. yea .. yall are fricked with this guy

Sure enhances his legacy so you're probably right on some level deep down.
Of course, it's also like an architect designing a magnificent building and then watching it go into disrepair.

I think cares but he’s known for a while what the deal is inside the football building.
He’s not ever gonna say anything because that’s not in his DNA, but he knows that his program ceased to exist.
DeBoer walked in and literally gutted the place from Day 1.

No, you don't. You know.

I don’t think he cares. He had his time here and did great. He has a new career and doing great. I doubt he spends much time thinking about Bama football.

Saban is laughing.
"And these MF's were bitching about me enough to where I had my agent talk to Texas so I could get a raise"

I think he probably feels bad for DeBoer. I don't think he likes seeing Alabama lose. He's a fan now.
I also think he's probably glad to have gotten the frick out of dodge when he did.

Don’t let downvotes get to you. They are meaningless. Ignore them at will.

He was at the game last week. He still has a box at BDS and a house on Lake Tuscaloosa. The field is named after him.
I know the guy is an assassin but you must think he’s a really heartless bastard if you think he doesn’t care.

Nothing he’s done after retirement indicates he doesn’t care about the program, in fact it’s the exact opposite

Saban gave up 52 points in his last appearance in Knoxville.
52 points.
52 points.

Made it look like a Verizon Store.
The shitty thing though was the firing of so many support staff that had been at UA forever. Even fired the head chef….who’s replacement DeBoer brought in from Washington was soon fired for sleeping with subordinates.
The culture DeBoer has fostered at UA is shite.

I think if there is legislation passed that limits transfers, caps NIL, and creates governable rules he would consider coming back for 3-5 years.
You can’t watch him on gameday and various podcasts without thinking he misses coaching.
If KD continues to shite the bed and the stars all align……never say never.

Age is just a number. He has the fire and energy or he doesn’t. He seems busier now than when he coached.
He isn’t like Bowden, Paterno, or any other who stayed well past what they should have.
He never lost more than 2 games in the regular season from 2011 until he retired. You think he wouldn’t have a more prepared team these last 3 years than what we have seen?
He could wheelchair out there with Major Applewhite and get more production than our offense showed today.
