Alabama Women's Basketball Aims to Keep Building, Opens WNIT at Troy
Crimson Tide's late-season run wasn't enough to get into the NCAA Tournament, but still could be a springboard for the 2022-23 season.

She INHERITED
That's fair. But then you also have to consider what she inherited here. We were an absolute mess. Just a totally dysfunctional program. This was basically a rebuild that was close to what Mike White is taking on at UGA.

Time for a change.
Firing her one year after the first tourney appearance in 20 years is not going to get the results we want. If she misses the field again next year, then yes, time for a change.

I’m all for not accepting mediocrity, but I’d say it’s more likely the program goes back to being a bottom feeder than takes the next step.
WBB is simply not a big deal at UA. It’s probably the #6 sport here vs the #4 or even #3 sport at a lot of SEC schools.
Is there any reason we should be good at WBB?
They had FIVE Sweet-16s and a Final-4 along with a couple of more appearances, and the crowds were excellent!
If the UA decides to make the effort for ANY sport (men or women) to be elite, the crowds will come!
My 60+ years of following The Tide has shown me that.
