That’s where I’m at. He’d welcome the challenge. He didn’t hesitate to follow Pete Carroll.

Now that ended in an embarrassing fashion but at least we know following a legend wouldn't bother him.

Doesn’t play defense. Goes for it on fourth when he doesn’t need to. Goes for two when he doesn’t need to.

I could understand a 15 year old boy wanting Kiffin, but I'm genuinely surprised so many adults think he should be the guy.

Suttles directly works under byrne for yea alabama.

He’s the most plugged in Bama reporter we have bow that Cecil is gone.

He wouldn't say Kiffin isnt an option unless it was true.

Don't care how plugged in he is, Byrne isn't telling him who he is or isn't hiring.

All of this need to worked into a contract that he gets fined $10K for going for it on 4th before the 50. Also $50K for banging a coed.

That's a really weird comment. Why, because GASP he sleeps with a woman younger than him ? Or GASP he used to date a lot of coeds after his divorce. Like he's the only guy to lose his way after a divorce.

These kids nor their parents are looking for a role model anymore- just dollars.

Kiffin just coached circles around James Franklin in the bowl game. I mean it was cringy level mismatch with Kiffin outcoaching him soundly.

In fact Byrne could be using Suttles to throw everyone off the trail.

The only reason I don’t think it’s Kiffin is Byrne has a history of hiring someone like the Arizona coach right out of left field.

Yes, because of those things. And also because he's overrated as frick as a head coach. He's an OC with great interview skills.

Where do you rank him in the candidates?

Slightly ahead of Dabo as the 2 guys I definitely do not want. It doesn't matter though because there's zero chance Byrne would hire him.

Kiffin may or may not have banged one of our main boosters trophy wife while he was here. Lets just say he burned some important bridges.

The board of trustees had no power during Saban's tenure. Now they see a chance to reassert themselves.

Their hubris will frick this up.

How can this not be an obvious slam dunk go get Lane Kiffin right now decision ?

If you actually watch Ole Miss play, I don’t know how you could say Lane Kiffin is a slam dunk.

Or if you need a stat, how about Lane’s 3-20 career record against power five opponents with more than 8 wins? Is that a slam dunk?

Look at Dabo without a top 5 pick at QB - hot garbage.

I’m not hoping Dabo gets the Bama job, but his season with Kelly Bryant is better than any season Lane Kiffin has had. Hell Dabo’s “hot garbage” record of 30-10 in the past 3 seasons equals Kiffin’s 29-10.

Kiffin's a clown my man. 10-2 at Ole Miss is ok when you beat Miss. St. and LSU, but he got blown out by UGA and Bama because he doesn't care about defense, else he would not have hired our DC

I would hire Dabo over some younger coach, hell he's proven more than Sark, but I will support, somewhat, the new coach, I really dont watch the games anymore, I listen to the radio. I now prefer Basketball for personal reasons, the NIL is a huge turnoff for me, but I would rather have the Wash. coach than Lanning.

Just sad about this vendetta against Kiffin. He and Sark are the available candidates for the job.
Well it’ll be our loss while we get someone who’ll have to navigate around the minefield of cutthroat SEC recruiting and politics.

And yet he didn't break the Saban retirement story. Chris Low did.

I'd put more stock in whatever Low says. He's proven in the last 36 hours that he's more plugged in.
