Why do CBS iron bowl flashbacks always seem to be auburn victories?

Because recent Alabama victory’s are blowouts, besides the “the drive” in 09

7 of the last 9 times we’ve won, we blew them out & it was never competitive. The 8th time, we basically blew them out in the 2H before Gus piled on garbage points to make it a “respectable” 10-point loss.

Other than 26-21 in ‘09, there’s nothing TV-worthy. We win; we usually beat their arse. They win and it’s almost always by a ghat’s count hair.

ESPN is like that, too. They always show the Kick Six and Cam game. Never any of our victories. It's insulting and just flat out wrong. They consistently disrespect our wins in the rivalry.

So what ? They should get the same media coverage as the Auburn wins. It's corrupt and insulting. The media is trash.

Becuase the auburn victories are often surprising and interesting while bama wins are mainly methodic beatdowns

The amari year being a notable exception

It's the same way when we play Texas A&M. They always show the 2012 Manziel game on College Gameday and SEC Network. Never any of our wins. And there have been several pretty competitive games against them other than 2012.

No one cares about flashbacks to blowouts. We've only won 2 close games in 20 years.

Since 1970 Auburn has defeated Alabama by more than 10 points exactly 1 time. In that same time frame Alabama has defeated Auburn by more than 10 points 20 times. That probably has a lot to do with it.
