From what I've been reading the fins are all in on Tua. Though that could be all predraft misdirection.

If the Fins get #13 then #5 will be playing at Miami,FAU, or FIU. I hope he stays but that family is tight.

I think Taulia has a chance to make some noise this spring. He's more physically gifted than Mac and is more experienced and familiar with our offense than Young. What if he's the perfect compromise?

I do think Young is the future, but 2020 is up fro grabs IMO.

"Bust"? "Reach"? Really guys

Yeah, seriously.

What makes it worse is he said it's "his observation" as if he is at the practices watching them take snaps.

I know I'm on record about my crazy expectations for Bruce Young, but I know Saban wouldn't start that kid day one unless injuries occur. It would cause a transfer mass exodus and leave us with a true freshman QB and Paul Tyson. Yikes.

It wouldn't even surprise me if Taulia and Bryce battle it out giving Mac all he can handle.

All good reasons to fill up BDS this spring. Another year's growth and maturity to an 18 or 19-year-old in football can be like a decade to the rest of us. When the light goes on for these guys it's a tue thing of beauty.

as far as bama is concerned. i see lia at #2 going into spring ball. i think he will be #3 coming out of spring ball.

however i, like many have already stated, expect him to transfer after the draft.

It will be very hard to fill up the stadium since construction will have much of the seats closed.

Semantics? Did "Ten Bears" make you say that?

I guess Lia has no chance at pro ball then. Because if all you guys are right then I assume Lia says no thanks to the draft so he can live in Florida with Tua and family. You guys are making some really silly assumptions. Lia isn't going anywhere unless Bryce wins the job. Jesus.

We should check again this summer about silly assumptions. Taulia and NFL might be a good start.

I don't think Lia is a NFL quarterback but right now his future is undetermined and I don't think his life is gonna revolve around Tua or Tua's career. And if Lia dreams of playing in the NFL I doubt he transfers to some podunk Florida school over playing for Bama and coach Sark. You guys assume the family is gonna move with Tua without thinking about how that impacts Lia as if he or his career/life doesn't matter.

I've disagreed with a lot of your posts over the years, but brother you flat took this one and drove it straight out of the park. Very well said.

Yeah, I've been reading the same. From Ross at the Citrus Bowl, to Tua's agent awarding Ross for his charitable work at a pre-Super Bowl event, etc. it looks like Tua will be in Miami.

Unless Atlanta or the Titans take Tua, look for Taulia in the transfer portal in April. That family unit is tight and will not want to be separated.

If Tua goes to the Dolphins, could he transfer to Miami? If so we might play against him in 2021.

Bet he transfers to a Div 1 school as close to Tua as he can get.

I could definitely see that happening and I wouldn’t blame Taulia at all. They are a tight family unit and stick together. I’d at least ask him to stay for spring training and battle for the starting position first before he bailed though. That would be fair imho.

From his perspective, he might be concerned about the quality of the development he'd receive in Miami. He'd really need to vet the staff. Having said that, Miami's QB room is arse and he might be their best QB in practice #1.

in any event, I feel good about our qb situation.
Keeping everybody content may be a problem for the coaches but it's probably the best depth at qb in the SEC.

Unless we have major injuries at the qB spot I don't see Lia and Bryants great grandson ever starting at Bama

Maybe, but one of those is reportedly not like the other.

Lia didn’t look too bad in the spring . He may not start since we have Young coming in but he didn’t look overmatched in the times he has played
