Welp we can add this one to the 20 points or less list….. Bama moves to 28-1 under CKD when the offense scores 21+

Hats off to you and Kane. Defense stood tall when it mattered most.

They do what you need to win in this era.

Everyone has nostalgia and equates all of CNS’s defenses to the 2011-2017 years.

The truth, is that from 2018-2023, Bama’s Defense was “Third and Golding” despite having the greatest collection of talent ever on that side of the ball.

The offense carried the water from 2018 up until Milroe.

Bama’s defense doesn’t allow explosive scores, they also are MUCH better in the Secondary/defending the pass than what they have this year.

The past 2 seasons they were among the top defenses in all of CFB in both passing yards allowed and pass efficiency.

Z Brown being injured and D Lee turning into a pumpkin this season is why they have been more “soft” on the back-end compared to last year imo.

They actually do play “press” in the Secondary a lot though: on run downs and then he picks and chooses his spots and when to take chances.

I think CKW is the best DC in the Conference and is as consistent as it gets.

You know with 100% certainty that the opponent will never exceed 3 offensive TDs and they will force multiple turnovers that lead directly to points.

The best players on defense are the younger ones and the new transfers.

Z Brown being injured

He wasnt close to 100% today but Carmelo O'Neal stepped up and had a really good game. I thought that DPI on 4th down was bullshite. He made the tackle on 3rd and short to pin them back and start Lane's implosion.
