Can players rebound? Can the coaches get it together?

We're more likely to get to the playoffs now than we would have been had this not happened.

This defense is severely flawed and this shines a bright light on our biggest weakness.

In no way does losing to Vandy improve your chances of making the playoffs.

Probably the Cheez It or Dukes Mayo Bowl.

What I want to see is if these players respect Deboer.

I remember the opening drive against Mississippi State in 2006. 4th and goal from the 2. Shula sends in the FG unit. Tim Castille and LeRon McClain throw their helmets down and storm away from Shula on the sideline.

Moore's shite at the end was Mike Shula-level disrespect. That concerns me more than anything I saw on defense tonight because it tells me that these players don't respect Deboer. They don't fear him. And without that, they don't have the character to deal with this adversity and grow from it and get better.

I hope they prove me wrong.

Schedule is favorable.
BAMA will be favored in every game they play for the rest of the regular season.

This team will end up losing six or seven games after tonight. DeBoer is going to lose this team. A loss like this makes players question what a coach is preaching. Still have many tough games remaining.

Was he screaming at the coaching staff or just the other players? Because you definitely had players screaming at each other in the late Saban era. I heard it very clearly coming from the tunnel after the Rose Bowl and the cameras caught Milroe throwing his helmet.

After tonight? Seven more losses would require them to lose every game except for Mercer.

Please list out those 6 or 7 additional losses.

This maybe a Tim tebow type moment for the team or they may throw in the towel. I doubt it's the latter.

The only thing we can hope for is that SOMETHING is done about the defense.

Feelings don’t matter. If the defensive side of the ball isn’t addressed it won’t make a damn how inspired they are. Our defense is trash.

I thought Milroe handled the interview after the game well. Positive energy and a lot to improve on. He wasn’t down in the dumps feeling sorry. The games over. Move on. We are better than this.

Where do we go? Let’s see
Too many penalties going all the way back to the first game. Check
Defense can’t get off the field. 22 play and 17 play drives against WKU and USF. Check
Defense collapse against UGA. Check
So it looks like we are right on track. Don’t expect any of this to change this year. We could win out or lose 2 more. Not Bama standards. Vandy should ALWAYS be a gimme. Period.

Move on? I’m not a player. These players are making millions. I have every right to call the defensive side of the ball absolute dog shite. This loss falls on Deboer. He gets paid 12 million for it. If they can’t take criticism go coach and play for vandy maybe? Tonight was a fricking joke. If something is done defensively we will lose more games.

I meant the team move on, not us in here. We can bitch and moan until we get over it on our own. The team doesn’t have that luxury.

Sorry. I’m just pissed. From the gate something was off. I dunno. This just seems different. I don’t know if Deboer is ready for this pressure but I guess we will find out. I hope I’m wrong.
