Ever since they stopp d people from parking around the Ferguson Center, I have had a hard time finding a consistent place to park. Where does everyone park?

My game plan is to be parked no later than 3 hours before kickoff. If I stick to that, there is a residential side street where I can always find a spot for free, between BDS and downtown, less than a mile walk.

Can't remember the name of the street but I park behind a grocery store a few blocks up and on the same street as the practice field. It's a an easy place to park and a pretty nice walk as well. The street runs between jacks and the practice field and our parking is on the other side of the RR tracks. We did park at the Publix for one game last year.

My Dad and sister go to most games and park downtown around 8th street. There are a few lots on that street and are usually between $15-20. Very easy to get out after the game if you are getting on Lurleen Wallace Blvd to get on the interstate or going towards Northport.

Sounds like you are describing Hackberry. I park down that way too. Forever it was free. Then it was $5. now the boy scouts are involved and it's $20.

Awful place to exit after the game.

Wherever I can find a residential street with an open space between Queen City and 69.

Don't have regular place as it depends where the tailgate I'm going to is set up. If it's on the quad, I usually just park at the softball stadium and bus it. I have some friends that set up very close to the strip, so I'll park as close to there if I go to that tailgate.
I will say the way parking is handled now, and the cost of it, really gets my blood boiling. $40 to park is highway robbery.

I'm going to tell you about a spot but you can't tell anyone. Both of these spots are free. If there's a kid at the first one asking for money tell him/her to frick off because it isn't their property. Secret spot #1 "the land bridge"
Hidden from the naked eye, this gem has been kind to me on numerous occasions. I did something back here I'm not really proud of once. A UT fan parked like an absolute jackass back here in what's a really tight place to park anyway, so I pissed all over his door handle
It's that little strip of land to the left in this pic between the tree lines
#2 is the dirt lot past copper top and wilhagens. I don't know how this spot doesn't fill up every Saturday, but it's usually open

Near Ferg, follow Old Hackberry Lane towards Jack Warner. Last building on right has parking behind it run by a veterans group. $15 or $20.

Can you describe the land bridge spot a little better? Having a hard time grasping where you mean

Take Reed St off University and go across Riverside Dr, and it's on the left. I've parked there a couple of times. We used to go back there while tripping on shrooms when I was at UA.

Park in that open lot over by Wilhagins that he detailed in the second pic. The land bridge can get blocked in by one retard that doesn't know how to park.

I park on a street near Mugshots downtown and then ride the shuttle to and from the game. It's $1 each way.

Seems when I was in that area a month or so ago, the lot past Wilhagins was blocked and it looked like they were getting ready to start construction on something.

I just go down to the Library and park, it is a good walk, but I need the exercise, and it is much easier to hit 69 to 359 from there, than being parked closer to the stadium.

Wouldn't surprise me. I guess I didn't pay too much attention to that area when we were down for the OM game.

Biology and Chemistry grad students can park behind Shelby, so that's where I park.
