Weird. Says a lot about the talent on this team and I think Calvin would've been one had we been able to showcase his skills. Harris could have been one if were not for having a crowded backfield and Saban switching his offense to the shite we see now. Still, we are usually good for an all American linebacker each year.

Wasn't Fitzpatrick a consensus or unanimous All-American?

Are you assuming we didn't have an All-American on the team this year? Because Minkah Fitzpatrick was a unanimous All-American in 2017.

We didn't have a player drafted in 2007, man how times have changed.

DJ Hall and Simeon Castille had the talent, Saban just didn't have ringing endorsements of their attitudes to NFL teams.

Wallace Gilberry had it too, just wasn't built like an NFLer at his size/speed. Too small for DE, not athletic enough for OLB. Sure enough though, he retired a few days back as a 10 year veteran if the NFL...

Moving past the fact that you obviously didn't know that we do, in fact, have an All-American player, can you figure out your take? You're saying we don't have talent here, and yet later on you are bashing the coaches for their coaching. And yet here we are, 11-1 and in the CFP. So, do the coaches suck or do we lack talent? Let's not lose sight of the number of injuries we've had, either.

SDH has AA talent and probably would have been one if not for getting hurt.

If Jalen is so terrible and Saban let's him start there should be some heat on the coach.

Now we have 2-3 drafted in first round.

Also, B.Bozeman made a couple of 2nd team AA lists. D.Payne, R.Harrison, J.Williams, and JK Scott each also made at least 1 2nd team AA list. Pretty sure we had some 3rd team AA's as well.

FWIW, the SEC only had 2 consensus AA's this season. Minkah and Roquan Smith. This season reflected more parity across the entire nation.

Yeah, I would have liked to see where SDH ended up.

We could have 4 1st rounders this year too. Team isn't devoid of talent that's for sure
