What would be Bama’s record if not for BY’s ability to improvise?

Bama has to be at a 20% or less success rate on successful pass plays that go as planned.

8-4, we almost lost to an abysmal A&M team without him. Probably lose to TX, TN, LSU, OM

Even Arkansas would be a toss up. The only offense BoB generated in that game came on defensive busts resulting in three breakaway runs. Those busts wouldn't have been there had Arkansas had weeks of film on Milroe.

Even with him, we are 2 plays away from being 7-4 right now.
(We are also 2 plays away from being 11-0, I must mention)

What would Bama's record be if BY hadn't been injured in the Arkansas game, and he had been able to practice with his receivers for the last month? Probably 9-0. You take the good with the bad. Bryce has great ability to improvise, but his height limits his ability to see parts of the field, and spot open receivers sometimes. Do we need to scheme better? Sure we do, we have coaching, and schematic issues, that need to be addressed. If that's your point, I agree, we need to resolve some problems.

When's the last time we even took a deep shot? No way Bryce is 100%. Even with our WRs you take a shot at some point to loosen up the defense.

I think it's a combination of Bryce's arm not being right yet, and not having enough protection sometimes to let the long routes develop.

Idk man when i watch replays and most plays it seems guys are always open underneath. I wonder if he cant see them because of height.

That's an issue too, but other than rolling him out more, I don't know if that can be remedied.

I think that's exactly why. He never sees them from the pocket and we know he sees everything as long as he has clear line of vision, so, it seems pretty clear.

Tennessee is probably a blowout loss for sure.
