We've performed well against them recently and their scheme but it's hard to say considering they are actually running the ball well and have performed similar if not better than us against similar comp. I expect the offense to be more of the same. Some great plays by Bryce and Jahmyr with a lot of questionable play calling. I guess I expect the defense to play better if only by default that it really shouldn't be able to get worse

My expectations are to win, and have no injuries.

It will be interesting to see how our defense responds after such a dismal performance. They'll either nut up, or crumble. Hoping that it doesn't get all up in their head.

State will get raped by poor officiating to “make up” for last week. I 100% expect that, and it’ll be bullshite for state.

I really can't think of any instance where Bama has benefitted from poor officiating in a major moment. People cite the missed interception in the 2009 LSU game, but LSU got the ball back shortly thereafter anyway and just went 3 and out, as they had for the entire second half.

Game is at home so that should help. I know they almost lost to A&M at home but that was without Bryce. Outside that the majority of the discombobulated play has come on the road regardless of the competition

MSU has offensive potential, but scored a whopping 3 points in the first half against Kentucky.

This is a decent challenge. It'll hopefully be a clean, well executed game in all phases and they can go into the bye week getting ready for the stretch run on a high note.

Not saying the D has to pitch a shutout, but they need to look MUCH better at literally every level.

I'd like to see a "make their arse quit" team again. It's been awhile.

If I were MSU I'd put in some stack formations.

I'd throw a lot of 50/50 balls too.

I think the team turns around and blows MSU out. I think we win out and face UGA or UT.

I know people are upset with the loss but the hyperbole is fricking retarded. State has lost to lsu and Kentucky. No. They are not similar

We both played A&M and Arkansas. Literally similar comp. And yes Bryce didn't play the A&M game but we haven't shown any play this year to be overconfident against a semi capable team.

I thought you meant they played a similarly hard schedule. My bad. I don’t really see what them beating 2 bad teams has to do with anything. There isn’t much to take way to me about 2 teams beating bad teams. As far as what I expect: Bama to out talent them and the game be a lot closer than it should be. That’s just who they’re going to be

Aye, currently a good strategy against our DBs; the pass couple of years, that’s equivalent to 50% completion or 50% pass interference…

Just pointing out this could be another hard game for us if we show up as poorly as we have for about half of our games. Team needs to start preparing correctly and putting players in positions to succeed

Also because of how poor our run defense has been in games that matter I do wonder if state can run in this game. That's been one of the reasons our drop 8 strategy has shut them down. We could still shut the run game

I don’t know Boz. You think this team has the heart, pride and commitment to get it done. Especially now that most of the so called star players are heeled money wise. Wouldn’t won’t to f/up their draft status.
