Would rather play UGA and postpone UTk.

Saban has likely placed a lot of time and effort into the UGA prep and has had 2.5 days of practice this week.

Stay connected digitally and let Sark play HC/OC for a game.

More concerned over CNS's complete absence next week from UT prep.

Play it......and if we lose we can chalk up to no Saban so it doesn't count anyway.

That will be our excuse and not our shitty D

Absolutely.

We are going to see a 9 game conference schedule out of this, if not a 10 game schedule moving forward. Alabama and Georgia will play each other much sooner than the current projection.

If he is feeling okay he will be involved in UTK prep from home. He said today in his press conference that he watched practice remotely and had a guy on the phone to tell them when to run a play over because somebody messed up

He will be involved as long as he feels fine

This game has to happen if the players are ok. It makes sense from all sides.

SEC wants this game to happen so it doesn’t really screw up their scheduling.

UGA wants this game to happen because they will theoretically be at an advantage on gameday because of this.

UA wants this to happen because Saban being out actually can be a positive for long term playoff odds. If we win, it’ll be seen as a bigger win than it otherwise would be. And if we lose, as long as it’s not a blowout, it’ll be more likely to be excused by the playoff committee.

All sides align, it’s gonna happen.

that is funny.

BUT, big difference in personal presence and virtual/phone tag presence to both get the feel of practice and drive home the emotion you want relayed to your audience

Postpone the game. Unless we play the game, then postpone it any way. Only if we play.

Our DBs and LBs have vowed to maintain proper social distancing as they have the first few games. Your WRs and TEs will be safe. Play on.

To be fair, our own passing route runners have done a good job of social distancing themselves, and the OL has created a pretty steady 6' bubble for Mac's CV19 safety bubble

If we are without more coaches or players Saturday due to COVID, then I assume it will have to be. Otherwise, I reckon I’m onboard with playing on.

Need to play the game as is. If Bama can win out then we get another shot in Atlanta.

Not trying to be confrontational, but the possibility of a postponement simply because of Saban's positive test results is laughable. It doesn't work that way.

Can't we drag out Coach Bryant's tower and put Coach Saban on it for practices and the game??

I’d rather play and get beaten than the game get postponed. If the safety of the players and coaches is not an issue, lets play ball
