I will say the Sugar Bowl is more prestigious than the Cotton Bowl or Orange Bowl, but definitely not bigger than a Playoff game.
Speaking of the Playoffs, IF we get there who does everyone wanna play and how do you think we match up with them? Of course we want another shot at Ohio State. If Oklahoma wins the Big XII and can make it we could potentially avenge bowl losses from the last two years we didn't win the title, that'd be very nice.
Playing ND would be fun, especially in the title game. We'd go right from closing the season with ND to opening the season with USC. The other two programs that are in the top three all time, IMO.

This thread is funny watching them hate on Scott Cochran because he is a Louisiana native. One fan goes so far as to say as that he wishes he would get ran over by a bus. Just sad pathetic people in that state. No one even down voted him fort that trash statement. Notice the irony of his avatar.

These are the same people who will praise Dylan Moses to the moon and back right now as their savior, but if he goes anywhere else, especially to Bama, they'll want him burned at the stake. Granted he's all LSU, but still. There are some good LSU fans, but I'm not sure there is a fanbase that is worse. That was settled for me during the 9-6 game. In T-Town that day, before, during, and after the game they were scum the entire time. I'm talking yell and shout into the faces of kids scum. A lot of them.

There is a melt, but this year it seems like it hasn't been as big. I think 5 straight truly did break them.

Yeah, there has been in the past an undercurrent of anger and vitriol to their disappointment when they lose to Alabama.
This year, reading the TR, is like reading letters to a suicide hotline.
Bama made them quit and then broke them in half.
Most have just thrown their hands up and given in - "Oh well. We won't win again until Saban leaves".

I saw on al.com where C-Rob threw a slight shot at LF for his reasoning he gave of picking LSU over Bama. Said everyone was going to Bama and he wanted to be different. I guess different means never winning a title
But really though LSU next year may be the favorite to win it all. They return Harris, LF and all the other RBs and FBs, all of their good WRs unless Dural goes pro, all of their TEs I think, some of their OL. That offense should be insane if they get good playcalling and game planning. Of course they're loaded in the secondary with talent and the future of their DL should be bright.

If Baylor or a similar offense makes it in, I want them 1st round. Give us a lot of time to prepare for the offense. I think we can get ready for Ohio St easier with just one week.

I've lurked tiger rant more yesterday than I ever have and those people are hilarious. I thought we had some overreacting fans but lsu fans are borderline suicidal. It's great entertainment LOL

Given the long road of twist and mediocrity that is my fan journey, you'll never break me.
A lot of the LSU fans are spoiled. Yes this streak is frustrating as hell, but we've got a great program to enjoy if we beat yall or not. The streak will end at some point. You've needed to get the right bounces in most of these games. It'll swing the other way soon.
