We have terrible defensive efficiency and really struggle to put games away late though mostly have done it.

Nate never learns, we are the worst rebounding team of opponents missed free throws that I can remember.

On a purposeful miss, tip outs happen all the time. Who cares if they get the rebound, we only care if they shoot a 3 and don’t foul them to give an and-1. We should have had 2 guys guarding rhe 3 point line and a 3rd ready to immediately guard tbe 3 point line if the ball didn’t come to him. We even had a TO. It’s just bad coaching

Well that was a great win. We needed it so desperately. Holloway and Philon notched it way up. What a shot by Holloway. Our FT shooting at the end has to improve , teams just cannot win consistently if you don’t. We were doing so well at the beginning of the season. Let’s go and whip Awbarn in their shithole. Holloway for 40 !

I don’t believe so. People overrate how much 19-22 year old kids care about talking points.
You think Philon is reading idiot media tweets when he’s got Instagram models in his DM’s? These athletes are pretty insulated from the bullshite. They practice, hang out together, play 2k, and that’s about it.
The Miles situation was different because it was such a witch hunt and had real life ramifications for a good portion of the team. This has no ramifications except for a bunch of 40 and 50 year old men yelling out to each other that a 22 year old shouldn’t play college basketball.

Distraction was the wrong word. I am talking more about him being put in the lineup and messing with the flow of the team. His minutes went down this last game. I think Oats realized he can't just plug him in to the starting lineup and everything gets better. I do think he makes the team better though, hopefully they gel toward the end of the season with some easier games.

This is way more of a style reason. aTm plays press defense and they aren’t particularly big. Against press you need ball handlers and good passers because you’re trying to break the press and make the pay for it by playing fast.
You don’t want Charles and Aiden out there while our guards are getting trapped and looking for an outlet.

There were so many times aTm switched the pick and roll, had Jacari Lane at 5'8 or whatever guarding either Chuck or Sherrell, and we didn't feed the ball down low. Frustrated me to no end. I got some ugly looks from the rows in front of me when I yelled that there was a midget guarding our 5 and we wouldn't feed them the ball.

Oats mentioned that in the presser. He said something like “we shot 48 threes, which is fine. But we could’ve gotten wide open paint shots on a lot of those”

Bediako just isnt that good of a player. If he improved any playing in the D league, it doesnt show. A Allen is definately good, though. My fav player.
