Is BOB still coaching us?
Why are we even discussing the guy?

Glad he’s gone. Just not a good fit at the time for Bama. I just hope he can help Mac at New England. Anything is better than Matt Patricia. Rees is young and hopefully innovative. We’ll see.

Well Bob and Golding together as a duo were the worse coordinators ever during the Saban era! ..

Remember that terrible interception Young through at the start of the LSU game? That wasn't O'Brien's fault. Neither were the points that Tennessee scored. And the missed kick.
Bro, Bryce could barely throw the ball 10 yards against LSU and BoB chose to throw the ball 52 times.
BoB also chose to throw the ball 3 plays in a row at the end of the TSIO and it gave UTk enough time to win it.

It’s the offseason and people want to talk football. If you don’t want to participate, keep scrolling.

Him or Locksley. What OC wouldn’t have been successful during regular season play with the offense Locksley had?

No argument from me. Golding definitely the worst D coordinator. Both of them together was a disaster.

How do you put Locksley in with the worst when he had great offenses. No matter the personnel he literally had starter’s sitting by the 2nd quarter in most games. Even against Clemson our offense moved the ball all game our issue was interceptions and playing the wrong running back in goal line situations. Damien Harris wasn’t as physical as Josh Jacobs was.

There is nothing Harris is better than Jacobs at IMO. I know that’s obvious now but I felt the same way when they were in college.

Me too I was getting pissed Jacobs was getting us down the field and once we got to the goal line they’d bring him in Harris to get stuffed. We lost 14 points doing that.

Applewhite takes the cake.

I’ll tell you how. Kiffin took Blake Sims to the playoffs and won a championship with Coker. Locksley couldn’t get more than 6 in the redzone against Clemson with the most elite all-around offense Bama has had.

I mean it’s pretty much established fact that Clemson was reading our signs.
Blame Locksley for not changing them before the game and not noticing during the game as he was one foot out the door to Maryland, but Damien Harris didn’t lose that game for us.

I never said he lost it. Harris did all he could. I just feel like having Jacobs in on the goal line we would have scored on those possessions. We turned it over on downs twice. I think we out gained them also.

Bob and Golding were the perfect shitestorm with that much talent. The toughness and make them quit attitude were non existent.

BOB’s plays took far too long to develop.
Bryce bailed BOB out with his ability to extend plays.

For the life of me I will never understand that thought process. We had wildcat packages for Jacobs on short yardage situations but we wouldn’t put him in on the goalline? I’m getting angry just thinking about it.

Exactly. We all know Jacobs wouldn’t be denied from one yard out in the championship game.
